Great for keeping your shin guards in place
As someone who plays soccer a number of times a week, I've always been meddling with my shin guards, socks, shin guard sleeves, tape etc... in order to find the perfect combination to keep my shin guards in place while not being too annoying. I think I have found a permanent solution with the Adidas shin guard straps. I played my first game with them last night and they were easy to strap on, stayed put the entire game, didn't cut off circulation and were easy to remove. I'm not sure I could have asked for anything more. I haven't played in poor weather conditions or put them through the wash to see how they hold up but my initial impression has been extremely positive. Compared to tape, I'd say they are superior in application time, adhesive strength and removal and they help my shin guards exactly in place when I was playing.

Super Effective
I use electrical tape to hold my shin guards up usually until I got these. They work so well. My shinguards donโt move at all with them on. Iโm super happy with the purchase and I will always be using them with my son as well.

Good enough, but can come undone through the course of games
These straps are adequate. However I think they need to be thicker (wider top to bottom) and a little shorter (lengthwise) in order to really be effective. My daughter needs these to help keep her shinguards from slipping down and digging into her ankles. I got these bc most of what she wears is adidas. But I realized after one practice, that these are too thin and too long. They stayed fastened where the velcro connects, but the other end that was (closest to her leg) came undone and was just flapping around. Were it a game, another player (or my daughter) would have stepped on the trailing end and the strap would have come off. I'm going to go back to a thicker/shorter strap. Nike makes a good one, that I will try again.

Great
Love these. I used to get so distracted with slipping shinguards in my games and now I can just focus on playing. I can't believe my generation used to use electrical tape on our shinguards. These are a much better alternative lol

work great for my 6 year old
My daughter's game socks are too loose, so we'd been using athletic tape under the top roll. That was only working marginally, and was leaving a sticky residue so we decided to try these. So far they've been wonderful, and have been holding her socks up perfectly -- much better than the tape method. My daughter is only 6, so her legs are small. I simply cut off a couple inches of excess material so that they fit her well. Only time will tell how long they last, but I still they they are a good price considering the pack comes with 2 pair.

Solid Product
These hold ok, they have a tendency to slide with any contact. I feel like i have to adjust them often

Use for ice hockey
Great for hockey shin socks instead of ugly tape.
