Taste is excellent, sodium not quite so high. I use less and like it more.

I bought these to test the hypochlorous acid I make at home. I tried testing twice yesterday and got no color. Today I opened this product page and found instructions stating, "Please kindly note the 1st page of paper under the green cover is NOT actual test strip. That piece of strip is used to protect the actual test papers." Oh! I apparently used two of the outside protective papers which is why I didn't get a reading. I just used the actual test strip and got a reading of 300ppm.

My favorite test papers for home-made HOCl (hypochlorous acid). They have a wide detection range, easier to see the difference than other brands. I typically use ~1/3 strip at a time & use tweezers to dip.

The test paper guide is not color correct. The 500ppm is supposed to be dark rose and the 1000 is supposed to be maroon. I ran my electrolyzer several cycles. The color always stayed orange but more intense/darker orange. So, instead look at the examples on this seller's site. Even their high ppm examples look orange instead of matching the guide. Next time I buy, I'll try a different brand.

I feel sheepish that I used this incorrectly and assumed it didn’t work. The test papers come in tiny little booklets with a blue cover and a thin white paper strip to protect the actual test papers. Thank you for the awesome customer service that reached out and clarified this for me. They work great!

Clear instructions and work well. Good value for money.

These did not react at all to well water but did react to pool water. Thats what they should do. They are a bit small for my fat fingers, but I can make it work. They include a little clear plastic box to keep them dry.
