Proper Epson ink. Never sure whether to try the cheaper alternatives, but I have never had an issue with these inks, so have decided to play safe.

Best for the printer
The Epson ecotank printers are a great idea. Had the printer for quite a while and been thoroughly satisfied with all prints including photos. If you value the quality of the printed product, particularly photos then I always believe it's best to pay the extra to get the recommended ink.

Good Quality Ink but it does have a tendancy to leak in transit making it very messy to use
Good colour quality ink, very good value for money, lasts a long time, however on the two occasions of purchasing when the ink has arrived the bottles have leaked into the plastic bag which contains them making them very messy to remove the bottle so for ease of use I would give them 1 star and suggest buying some vinyl gloves when using.

Finally used a year after purchase, because these refill inks last so long!
Over a year after buying this black refill, I've just used it, because the EcoTank printers are such thrifty sippers. Not sure if the bottle was a little larger than the original supplied, because I couldn't quite fit it all in (minimal instructions suggest it will keep if sealed and upright, though I'll try and finish it sometime in the next year or so), but then I hadn't quite run it down to below the line yet, so might just have been a bit hasty refilling at three years (and about 1800 pages) into the printer's life. THREE YEARS! And the colour tanks are all about 80% full still. Frankly if this refill, bought for just over 8 quid doesn't outlast the printer itself I'll be surprised and a little disappointed. Like all Epsons, it's not a 100% happy relationship, but still no real regrets buying into an ecosystem where products actually cost their honest value rather than suckering the customer in with impossibly cheap loss-leading hardware then extortionate refills that only last a fraction of the time they should.

EcoTank ist für mich das beste System!
alles bestens. Drucke seit vielen Jahren auf einem ET-2550 meine gesamten Belege und das Ding läuft und läuft. Auch wenn die Originaltinte etwas teurer ist als die Alternativen, 70 ml für 9,- ist super günstig im Vergleich zu den kleinen Patronen und hält bei mir ewig. Bislang auch noch nie Probleme mit Tinte und Druckkopf, gelegentlich nach einer längeren pause mal Druckkopf reinigen und dann weiter gehts....War noch nie so zufrieden mit einem Drucker und habe zudem noch nie so günstig gedruckt .
