Bought these as a gift for a collector and he loved them!

And no, he's not hit me with a cerebro-shell to say that, it's of my own free-will, a solid entry and a fine way to finish up the core Insecticons. That said, he's somewhere between a 4 and 5 due to a few little things so I'm giving him an honest 4 out of 5. Bombshell is solidly-built, nothing pops off or falls apart or can't hold a pose. He uses some parts from Shrapnel - forearms, hands, and everything from the waist down - while changing up the transformation in several ways. His colors are a mix of cartoon and G1 toy accuracy, looking different enough from his fellow Insecticons to be immediately recognizable. Articulation is good as it's roughly the same as Shrapnel but adds backwards-butterfly jointing from the transformation; like his mold-mate, his neck only rotates, no up-down movement. The shoulders ship with the bug legs sticking out, but they actually click into the hinge slot for a closer fit, and pop out to allow greater range on the shoulders -- not that they need it, they already had plenty. Bombshell sports a trio of accessories, his twin ion impulse blaster and a pair of handguns that are used as legs in beetle mode; the instructions suggest slapping all these together for some evo-fusion action which is ok but not that much bigger, so I prefer him with three guns to one. Transformation is fairly straightforward, I don't like how the forearms connect to the thighs, it seems like the thigh plastic didn't leave quite enough room for the tab so the fit isn't fully straight, throwing off alignment just enough to get a little wonky. Sculpting is good, a balance between the smoother cartoon looks and the more techno-detail focus of this line. Decoration is pretty good all around, though not entirely accurate to any one look. Bug mode is a robo-rhinoceros beetle and looks adequately like the character. The back half looks too much like Shrapnel, they didn't even remove the fins. I don't care for the small shoulder risers leaving the sides of the robot face visible here, it's not G1 accurate to the toy or cartoon. In beetle mode, he has one point of meaningful articulation: his horn can fold up or down. Weapon storage is limited to either hole on the bug back, none of the other holes work, and most are covered in this mode.

Item arrived on time and in good condition. It seems to be good for display. I put it on my desk in robot mode.

Just got this today for my 10 yr old. (He'll now have all three). Joints are super tight. Very easy transformation. He is gonna love it. That's what matters most. Not the package. Not some sticker placement.

Typical of anything from HASBRO: 1) it's overpriced 2) has more waffles than IHOP 3) is hyped up for huge interest to be under produced to benefit scalpers 4) very little paint apps 5) some sculpted details but nothing to rave over My complaints of this figure is based on the experiences with the manufacturer. HASBRO has recently discontinued Breakdown which I had pre-ordered for almost 4 years & never received. They also discontinued Legacy Beast Wars Silverbolt which I had pre-ordered for 1 year & never received. Thus, I despise HASBRO & with that said, I'll give my honest opinion of the figure. I removed 1 star because of HASBRO'S failures to deliver past products & another star based on their decline in quality. Photo 1 is of my Insecticons display shelf that includes my childhood G1, New Age, Titans Return, Bad Cube & Legacy. Photo 2 is the center of the shelf focused on Bombshell. This one in particular is on the riser in the rear. It was converted to insect out of the box & honestly, it's an intuitive process that's not overly complicated. It's typical for a chug release & isn't anything special. For the price, the quality is low. There's an overabundance of hollow bits, waffling in weapons, empty space in arms/legs & the plastic just doesn't have the same heft as what was present a few years ago. HASBRO has increased prices, lowered quality & decreased size/scale over the years. These are actions that should result in decreased sales. I only recommend this figure if you are a fan of the Insecticons & are attempting to complete a collection of all scales from vintage to present. Although this figure isn't "garbage", it's not what it should be in contrast to all contributing factors. There's adequate articulation, nice representation of G1 colors & serves it's purpose in my collection. My recommendation would be to purchase a G1 KO or put another $20 with the cost of this & get the Bad Cube MP scale. If you're patient, you may luck out as I did & find all 3 of the Bad Cube in a set for $150. This isn't the typical review of the actual figure but it's more of a review of the manufacturer. Until HASBRO starts reverencing us, the collectors, I'll do everything I can to try to decrease their overall sales & promote 3rd party or even 4th party KO figures over them. I feel the more who know about how they've done so many of us within the community, the more impact we can have to force them to make improvements. Thank you.

Ottimo Deluxe da non perdere per un collezionista

The product is amazing. It's the last Transformers Legacy Insecticon to complete the trio, Bombshell. He's amazing. What wasn't was the fact Amazon packaged him in a bag rather than a box so the Transformers box was crushed! Figure was ok but no saving the box! Be warned if you are a collector.

Gute und stabile Figur. Das Kopfdesign lässt gegenüber dem Original aus den 80ern leider zu wünschen übrig. Schade nur, dass Amazon hier (wie auch bei allen anderen Transformers Figuren) nur noch Papiertüten zum Versand nutzt. Jedes Mal sehen meine Figurenkartons als Sammler aus, wie als wenn DHL absichtlich draufgetrampelt ist.... Kein Wunder, wenn diese Papiertüten unter schweren Kartons von DHL im Laster landen, weil alles nur reingeschmissen wird.... Amazon weigert sich leider hier etwas zu ändern... Jede Bestellung bisher so beschädigt angekommen.... Für Sammler ein Alptraum!
