Solves a probelm for me with an Intel Nuc being unable to drive the righ resolution for my widecreen gaming monitor via HDMI, by switchng to USB C/Thunderbolt port it works a charm. Great quality cable too.

Does 4k/120hz on new laptop !
Great, works with laptop that has TB4 (DP1.4 inside) , can do 4k/120hz 10bit, works through old TB3 dock that has only hdmi 2.0, but connected through to TB3 inside dock still works with 4k/120hz. Does not let me do 144hz on my LG C4, but it's far from dealbreaker Windows laptop thou

Best USB-C to HDMI cable I’ve used so far
UGREEN is UGREEN. There’s really no way around it. So far, it’s my favourite brand for cables and accessories. I own a lot of their products: cables, power banks, plug adapters, chargers… pretty much everything they make. The quality is consistently excellent. This USB-C to HDMI cable is no exception. The braided cord is a big plus: it feels premium, durable, and it doesn’t affect image quality at all. The signal is stable, sharp, and clean. It easily delivers the best possible output from my iPhone and other devices. I also use their Uno Supercharger plug, which is amazing, and overall I trust the brand completely. If you want reliable performance and solid build quality, UGREEN is hard to beat. For me, it’s one of the best brands in the world for this kind of gear. I love it.

Works great
I was using the jsaux hb1201s dock for my rog xbox ally x and was getting constant screen blackout for a few seconds So bought this cable and went direct from the xbox ally x to monitor and this works great. Only tested it on 1080p 60hz Had no problems so far

Arrived on time. Used this to link my MacBook to a monitor. Worked perfectly. I also liked the option of cable lengths.

The best I've tried, but still not good enough
I'm returning to re-review this cable, given that it's been in use for a couple of months, now. I'll leave the original below. I've found that when my laptop goes on standby or is powered off that my monitor is constantly going to sleep and waking up again, endlessly. I didn't notice this originally but one night I noticed flashing lights coming from the office and realised it was the monitor. I also find that Windows doesn't always bring me back to the sign-in page smoothly, sometimes taking ages and my windows being moved all around when I unlock the laptop. Ultimately, I've decided to go back to 60Hz and to just use a simple HDMI-to-HDMI cable from my HP G5 dock. Disappointing, but it's not the worst thing. Original review: I have a 5120×1440 240Hz monitor (Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo) and most USB-C to HDMI cables and dongles either don't support the resolution at all, or they can only drive the monitor at 60Hz in SDR. A USB-C to DP cable on my laptop can drive 240Hz at full resolution no problem, but I need the single DP port for my main PC, so I have no choice but to use a USB-C to HDMI adapter for my work laptop or to use a dock which also limits to 60Hz. This cable is the first one I've tried that both supports the monitors native resolution and can also drive higher than 60Hz. In fact, I can drive 5120×1440p at 144Hz with HDR with this cable, which is quite the surprise. It's not as good as the USB-C to DP cable that can do better, but it's good enough for work, so I'm happy. The cable itself feels like a quality braided item, but be aware that the HDMI end is quite large so depending on your monitor it may be a tight fit (as mine was)

This UGREEN USB-C to HDMI 2.1 cable immediately feels premium the moment you take it out of the box. The cable is thick, well-shielded, and sturdy without being overly stiff. The connectors fit securely with no looseness, which already inspires confidence for long-term use. Performance-wise, it’s excellent. I’ve been using it mainly to connect Apple devices to a TV, especially for high-quality lossless music playback, and the signal is stable with zero dropouts or lag. Audio and video transmission are clean and consistent, exactly what you’d expect from a 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 cable. One interesting discovery along the way: this cable helped me realize that iPhone Air does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, so audio/video output isn’t possible there. That’s not a cable issue at all — just a device limitation. On the other hand, my iPad mini (6th generation) works perfectly. It effectively turns into a compact “DJ pad” for music playback and control, which is a joy to use on a larger screen and sound system. Another big plus is future-proofing. This cable is designed for 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz, so even if your current setup doesn’t fully use that bandwidth, you’re well covered for future upgrades. HDR and HDCP support work as expected, and compatibility with Thunderbolt 3/4 devices is seamless. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable, and thoughtfully engineered cable. If you care about build quality, stable performance, and long-term usability — especially within the Apple ecosystem — this is an easy recommendation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cable works perfectly and feels like it's good quality. It allows me to use my work laptop with my 49 inch monitor at 5120x1440 resolution and 240hz refresh rate. Works great!

Tested on Macbook Air M1 and LG G4 oled. Cable stably provides 4K/120Hz. I didn’t check higher refresh rate as I don’t have such display for testing.

Another UGREEN cable that fails to work as advertised on a Mac. Connected to a 4K/240hz monitor with HDMI 2.1 support from a Mac Mini 4 Pro through the USB-C thunderbolt ports on the back of the device. The best it could do was 60hz. No option to select any other refresh rate. Another UGREEN cable that has to be returned. Garbage.
