I have recently been doing some sheet metal work (fabricating panels) for an older (1960) tractor I have. I used the last flap disc I had and decided to purchase more; I've used flap wheels for years now for both metal work and wood work. I've often purchased my flap wheels from Harbor Freight - and occasionally Home Depot- stocking up a bit when they had sales. I checked the current cost at both stores and was a bit taken back by the current price per unit ($5.00 - $8.00) so I thought I would see what is available through Amazon. I had not previously ordered flap wheels from Amazon and was quite pleased when I saw the array of options and far more reasonable prices. I decided to order 2 different grits from 2 different companies (1 from each) and give them a try; at worst, I figured the 10 discs I received SHOULD last at least as long as the 2-3 I would get if purchased locally. One of the sets I ordered was this 10 pack of 4.5", 120 grit discs from SALI. I was pleasantly surprised when the discs arrived. Upon inspection, their quality and construction appears to be on par with discs I've purchased (for much more) in the past. Performance and durability also appear consistent with what I'm used to (I've only used 1 disc so far and it shows very little wear). I'm VERY HAPPY with this set of flap discs from SALI and, given their very reasonable, affordable cost am very likely to order them again when I need more.

They last as long as a jumbo zirconia flapper. They just keep going. Did like these over all the other ones I tried. Only thing I wish was these were available in jumbo size. The thicker wheels are much nicer. Less downtime changing wheels and trash to haul around. Worth their expense compared to regular wheels. The super cheap flappers are good if you like to change out wheels. I prefer to keep using them.

Great discs, solid, they do the job.

These disks are tough and go along ways. In my case I use these for grinding epoxy resin. On steel, there good also. The tougher the steel the disks wear out quicker which is to be expected. A good price for 10 disks
