Bore Sight for 357mag/38spl Special Red Laser Bore Sighter Red Dot Boresighter with Batteries for Hunting and Shooting

I have a couple of 357 Super Mag firearms. I recently swapped a red dot on my TC 357 SM with another model. I'm a retired Engineer with my own smallish machine shop, so not a newbie. When I first installed the batteries, I was concerned that getting the '+ facing up' might be annoying. I couldn't have been more wrong. They seem to naturally land that way. Although a toothpick makes flipping them over, easy. When I first tried to zero the new red dot, I was kind of confused because I could only see one dot. I was very happy to find that the laser AND red dot were exactly aligned. My luck is never that good. I later made a small device to check if there was any 'runout or offset' of the beam. None. Zero movement while rotating the laser. Very impressed.

Laser stays centered when rotated. Works well in daylight at least up to 20 yds. Fit well in my 357 GP 100's cylinder. Only complaint is that there is no way to switch off the laser without taking out batteries.

Great battery life, rommend you remove one battery after use to prevent unit from turning on.

This hunk of garbage did not work. The provided batteries did not work. I bought replacements at the store for nearly the cost of the item, and they did not work. Clearly this is just a defective hunk of junk. I've spent more time trying to get it to work and shipping it back than it is worth. Seriously, save your money. This thing is defective, and clearly the mixed reviews are shifting solely to negative.
