Due to how Apple designed it the plastic scratches easy a during my use case it unfortunately has scratched, but if I had this from when I bought the Apple TV I'm sure it'd be fine. The magnets are awesome, though I don't use them. I hang mine from a pegboard where the projector is and because it's going from one place to the other all the time it works perfectly.
