The price is low and I ordering more after this review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great reversing small motor converter - especially for ESPHome with Home Assistant. *by R***T on February 6, 2026* These work very well, allowing an ESP32, RasPi, or Adruino to control low voltage DC motors like linear actuators, robot wheels, pumps, and such. The 5V regulator powers small controller boards w/o extra DC/DC converters! One of these with an inexpensive actuator ESPHome software can automate your yard gate, bed frame tilting, pet door, or pumping with Home Assistant via WiFi. Very easy to program for and wire to motor and power. They can also do PWM dimming of many lights, btw. Our only issue we've experienced is that they can burn out if left powering a bound actuator for a while w/o a fan. Better thermal protection would be good for such worst-case use. We don't need PWM for that one use, so we've changed that to a relay. Elsewhere we added a small 12V fan for cooling.
