I love this thing for protecting my plug ins to my outdoor pool lights. It is a great size and holds several plus in the extension cords. Sorry and I think it will hold up to the hot Texas sun.

Needed something to protect the 30amp extension cord connection to the 30amp RV power cord. This works,but I wish they had made a couple of slightly larger openings on the ends. The cable fit, but it's a tight fit, lid sticks up at corners where the cable goes in. It still seals. I will try to see if it can be altered. Other than that it seals well.

Very good quality large waterproof extension cord container. Container has 7 access points for cords and PLENTY of room inside for various size cord ends. It has a rubber seal around the top and each cord access point is also sealed with several rubber seals to eliminate water access. Each container end has an all plastic snap to secure the lid. THIS is my only real concern for long term use of this product. For many years I've used indoor extension cords outdoors for my Christmas (and Halloween) decorating. I've OFTEN held my breath by doing this because I knew it wasn't safe. I've had my breakers pop numerous times and now my GFI outlets pop. I hadn't thought about this type product until this year to protect my connections from water. NOT an inexpensive option when needing approx 60 containers. I invested SEVERAL hundred dollars this year in a few different sizes of them. This item is extremely functional, serves as that piece of mind tool and provides complete waterproof protection for my display cords. I'm using 8 of these large ones and simply place them behind my blow mold decorations. I highly recommend this seller and product. Blessings.

I put out door for my extension to make long. I got it last year it’s working perfectly. In snow in rain it worked great.

The tinted coloured front cover did not help in my application.

Box worked for enclosing my sprinkler wire connections, but did not come with a rubber gasket shown in the pictures. Box was shrink-wrapped. I bought a set of two, and neither included a gasket. I specifically chose it to be waterproof, so beware, without a gasket water can get in. I sealed mine with silicone since I didn’t want to hassle with a return.

I thought the plastic would be thicker, but in honesty it felt like a children's school box; for what it's worth, it does hold 7 of the items that are connected to 3 outlets for my Halloween decorations. The latch just feel a little flimsy, so I am hoping that it doesn't break on me, when I have to switch out the Halloween decor for the Christmas decor. The reason I do give it 4 stars, is primarily due to purpose of the box, which is to house all the power connections to which it does.

There is no way this box is water proof or even water resistant. We recently had some heavy rain with the box sitting on the ground. When our fountain failed to turn on, I discovered that the box was FILLED with water which fried the remote controlled switch that was in the box. Oh, and the switch was supposed to be water proof too. Do not assume this box is water proof. If you look closely at the wire/cable entry/exit holes you will clearly see that there is no way they are water tight. Recommendation: if you're going to keep the box outside with the bottom of the box down, drill some hole in the bottom of the box to allow water to drain out.
