Used this to bypass the leaking heater core in my 1974 Chevy C10 (without air-conditioning). Simple installation but the clamps included are tough to get around the larger diameter hose so I ended up just using a different clamp for that hose.

I was having very minor overheating issues on my 02 WRX. I was worried it was a head gasket issue, but the new engine only has 4k miles on the build. I narrowed the issue to an air pocket forming behind the thermostat causing it not to open. Engine bay was throughly checked with ZERO leaks. Bought this kit to bypass the heater core because I had read that heater cores can develop a very small pinhole leak. This can cause the coolant to vaporize when it escapes through the leak without draining onto the floorboard or out the drain tube. This also crates an air pocket in the system. After bypassing the heater core, my air pocket issues were solved! So now I get to pull the entire dash out to replace the heater core, fun times!
