I picked up the Glisten Washing Machine Cleaner 3-pack to deal with lingering odors and buildup in our washer after a recommendation from our repairman, and I’m genuinely impressed. After the first use, the drum was visibly cleaner and the musty smell was completely gone. The fresh scent is light and clean—not overpowering or chemical-smelling. It was very easy to use: just pour it in and run a cleaning cycle. I like that one bottle is enough for a thorough clean. After a few weeks of regular washing, the machine still smells fresh, which tells me it’s doing more than just masking odors—it’s actually removing buildup and limescale. The 3-pack is a great value and makes it easy to stay on a regular cleaning schedule. I’ll definitely keep this on hand as part of normal washer maintenance. Highly recommend, especially if you have a front-load washer or notice any funky smells starting to develop.

Great for cleaning front loading washing machines! I have been battling a strange smell / mold with my rubber ring since I got my machine. I leave the door open when it is not in use but I can't seem to get rid of it long term. This stuff clears it up every time! Always leaves my machine smelling fresh and clean. Very easy to use.

As my job entails doing repairs on washers as well as other appliances and other types of repairs as well I have tried most of the cleaners out there for washing machines. Glisten liquid is hands down the best. It cleans removes all different crud that is built up inside your washer. The foaming agent is still gentle enough and allows it to continue long after you get done washing the washer. The only disagreement I have with the instructions are use a quarter to a third of the bottle on a front load washer. Run it with hot water or if you have a cleaning cycle or a heavy duty towel cycle use that. On a top load you can use half to a full bottle and again run it on hot and rinse it twice.

This product is absolutely incredible. I’ve used a few other products in my washer on a cleaning cycle, and absolutely none of them did as-well as this one. I recently moved into a new house and the washer smelled horrible. All of the products I’ve tried left a small amount of gunk on the bottom for me to clean up. This product left about 10 times the amount of gunk on the bottom. About 65% of the bottom of the tub was completely filled with gunk, I could not believe it. I put a small amount of the cleaner on a towel and wiped everything down, then I dumped the rest of the bottle and let the clean cycle begin. About five minutes into the cycle (once the tub was completely filled with water and spun a couple times), I paused it and let it sit while I went to work. When I got home, the water had drained and the bottom of the tub was about 65% covered with gunk. I wiped all of the gunk and then poured an entire second bottle in the tub and did a full clean cycle, still a ton of gunk came out, way more than any other brand I’ve tried. This solution is incredible!! It does have a scent and it left my washer smelling amazing, very clean smell. Super easy to use and definitely worth my money.
