I really wanted to like this product. I’ve been using Jabra speakerphones for years and was looking for something with more volume, so the Poly Sync 40 seemed like the perfect choice. Unfortunately, it has been disappointing in several areas and does not compare well with Jabra’s product range. The battery life is poor and seems to require charging almost daily. The voice prompts are also extremely annoying. The device loudly announces things like “Battery low!” and “PC disconnected!” far too often. I don’t understand why voice prompts are necessary when Jabra handles the same notifications with subtle tones and beeps. The connection experience is frustrating as well. Every day I seem to need to reconnect it to Windows 11 Bluetooth, and even after reconnecting, it takes quite some time for Microsoft Teams to detect it again. Finally, the advertised 40 watts of power does not feel accurate at all. The volume is nowhere near what I expected. Overall, this has been a disappointing product and not one I would recommend over Jabra.

Das Poly Sync 40 hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Klangqualität ist beeindruckend, mit klaren Höhen und satten Bässen, die sowohl für Telefonkonferenzen als auch für Musik ideal sind. Besonders begeistert mich das Multi-Mikrofon-Array, das Hintergrundgeräusche effektiv filtert und so für eine störungsfreie Kommunikation sorgt. Die Flexibilität des Geräts ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Es lässt sich über USB-A, USB-C oder Bluetooth verbinden und ist mit Microsoft Teams sowie Zoom zertifiziert. Die Akkulaufzeit von bis zu 30 Stunden ist perfekt für lange Meetings oder den mobilen Einsatz. Zudem ist das Gerät staub- und spritzwassergeschützt (IP64), was es robust und vielseitig macht. Die einfache Bedienung und die Möglichkeit, zwei Geräte für größere Räume zu koppeln, runden das Gesamtpaket ab. Ich kann das Poly Sync 40 jedem empfehlen, der eine zuverlässige und hochwertige Lösung für Konferenzen sucht!

Worth every penny! The sound quality is great and the microphone works perfectly. You could stand on the other side of the room and the mic will still pick the audio. 10/10

I'm going to keep this review simple. I was looking for the conference room sound quality that you would find in almost all tech companies back in the 2010's era. You know that sound I'm talking about. The one with the rich deep voice and exceptional quality. Well this is it! Now that I remember, most of those tech company conference phones were Poly's. The issue was that back then they cost like $1200. Not this one! :). If that sound is what you want then look no further. I also like that it has that subtle mute sound and a nice red led bar that lights up to indicate that mute is on. It's a great product! I did try a few other products and was not happy with them. Jabra speak2 75 was not the sound I was looking for. It is decent but sounded thin. This one is it! buy it!
