The Wild Robot: Now a major DreamWorks animation!

Such a lovely set of stories, the kids love them and we love reading The Wild Robot with them. Great story, characters, themes and messages, very well written.

An enchanting adventure much loved by my 7 year old son. It conveys a great message of love and care.

I watched the film and loved it. I didn't realise that the film was based on a series of books so naturally, I had to have them all to find out the full story. This book (as I haven't yet read the others) is really well written and I think the film does a good job. Always difficult reading the book after the film as you are seeing the characters as they were on film rather than creating them yourself but I didn't find this to be a major issue. I can't wait to find out more about the characters the more I read.

I am 6 years old and I have lived listening to this with my mummy at bed time . The part I liked most is how I didn’t know what would happen next ! I think this was better then the film and it was really good :)

Nice book, many pages, short stories inside.

Started reading this as it was something my 7 year old had read in school as a class. It’s a really lovely story that’s been adapted into a film. The wording is easy enough that younger readers can have a go, with chapters often being only a couple of pages long making it a great bedtime story.

Great story, as are accompanying books including picture book. Now a film. Covers so many layers: adjusting to different worlds, growing up, accepting each other. V positive.

My son and I are reading it together. It sometimes makes me cry when I read it loud for him. You'd feel so attached to this robot if you're a guardian. Kids would love it feeling the connections between them.
