Bought this as a gift for my wife. She wanted a kitchen torch. She says she likes it and hasn't returned it, so I guess she really does like it.

It’s a good fuel capacity with clean flame

Nice metal version, expensive, feels great but it leaks. At first I though it as user error like I bumped valve when not in use, but no. After the second time of trying to use it and it had no gas I filled it, put in an out of the way spot and waited a month...and sure enough no gas. I have a 2 pack pencil style which cost $10 for both that works like it should unlike this expensive, good looking paper weight! EDIT Sept 2025 ------------------------------------------------------------- Seller reached out to me and replaced the torch after the return window. The new one does NOT leak. Cudos to seller and I'm a happy camper now!

Its cool, would work for what your probably buying for, but buying it for cigars its a no. The main critique is the inconsistencies with flame output. Dial it in, and it still jumps around on flame output wich is annoying for torching a cigar. The barrel of the flame is also to large for that specific purpose and even at the lowest setting it can be too much unless you torching a 60 ring gauge. The main knock is the variying output of the flame when you have it specifically set. Also, you cant return.

This is an edited review. I have purchased two of these, and loved their strong flame output. I use them for metal annealing. The flame output allows me efficient heating on small jewelry designs. I had originally left a 3 star review because I love the strength of the flame and the design in general, but the issues I experienced were a bit frustrating. The first one was an old design that I've been told has since been improved upon. It lasted 7ish months of daily use until the knob broke. The second one was also an older design that was defective out of the box. It had a leak. After mentioning this in my review, the company promptly reached out and offered to send me the new and improved version of this torch, no questions asked. I received it, and I have tested it. I can say with 100% certainty that I love it. The knob feels stronger and much more durable, and there is no issues with leaking. The flame is strong and consistent. I'm very happy to continue using this torch and will purchase again from this company in the future. They really stand by their product and as a fellow business owner, I admire their integrity and commitment to improvement. You can't go wrong with this purchase.
