Too thick. Don't recommend.

I was rear-ended at a red light eight years ago and have struggled with back and neck problems ever since (I'm 29 now). After reading "Treat Your Own Back" I purchased this to try and alleviate some of the tension I feel in my back in the morning. It definitely helps, but it just doesn't stay in place. I have a small waist, but it seems to fit the way it's supposed to (I ordered the XS). I've tried in against my skin, over a loose shirt, and over a tight shirt, and nothing keeps it from sliding toward the knotted end, rendering it useless. I do, however, sometimes sleep on it untied (so laying flat against the bed) and that helps. But I'm a stomach sleeper and have to physically move it when I move from my stomach to my back and back again... It would be amazing if it stayed in place- a five-star product!

Im a 5 foot 2 woman slim, petite frame but this one is a bit too small. Im 110 lbs. It doesnt go all the way around my waist but i think it still does the job. I dont use it for sleeping cause its uncomfortable for me but its good for travelling on train or plane for example, it definitely made the journey more comfortable. Bottom line, its good to have it sometimes.

This helped my lower back. However, the roll smashed out of shape early. I only weigh 108 lbs.

The roll did not stay at my waist, no matter how tightly I tried to tie it. Sometimes it would end up just under my breast, with no support for the small of my back. Unfortunately, I also bought one for my sister. I cannot recommend it.
