Fantastic knife for daily chores!
I'm not a "knife guy" so take my review with a grain of salt, but I found myself frequently searching around for something sharp in every day activities like camping, crafts, breaking down cardboard, etc. So after some web research, I settled on this knife and I absolutely love it! It feels light yet sturdy and balanced in my hand. Has a nice grippy texture on the handle, and opens/closes quite smoothly, either with a flick or pulling on the rear tab, without putting your fingers anywhere near the sharp part. It's also very sharp and holds that sharpness well. When opens, the blade is locked in place unless you press a little button at its base. The price seems very reasonable for such a premium feeling, well-designed knife.

A Nearly Perfect Everyday Carry Knife
CIVIVI Elementum II is one of those rare everyday carry knives that immediately makes you understand why the Elementum line has become so popular. After carrying and using it regularly, it feels like a knife designed with an incredible amount of restraint and attention to detail. Nothing feels excessive, yet almost everything feels refined. The first thing that stood out to me was how smooth the action is. Deployment feels fast and satisfying without being overly aggressive, and the button lock design makes opening and closing the knife feel effortless. It quickly becomes one of those knives you absentmindedly fidget with because the mechanical feel is just that enjoyable. The 2.96" Nitro-V blade has also been excellent in real-world use. It arrives sharp, holds an edge well, and handles everyday cutting tasks with ease. Whether opening packages, breaking down boxes, cutting cord, or general utility work, the blade shape feels incredibly practical. It strikes a nice balance between precision and durability without trying to look overly tactical. The Ultem handle gives the knife a unique look while still remaining lightweight and comfortable in hand. What I appreciated most is that the knife carries easily in the pocket without feeling bulky or intrusive. It disappears when you’re not using it, which is exactly what a good EDC knife should do. Build quality across the entire knife feels outstanding for the price. Lockup feels secure, tolerances are tight, and everything about it gives the impression of a much more expensive knife. CIVIVI continues to hit that sweet spot where affordability and quality overlap in a way that’s becoming harder to find. Overall, the Elementum II feels like a modern EDC knife done right. It’s clean, practical, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to carry and use every day. Whether you’re already into knives or looking for your first quality pocket knife, this is an easy 5-star recommendation.

Great pocket knife!
Great pocket knife! Surprisingly nice for the price. It stay sharp for quite a while and is very strong for a little knife. If you’re looking for a great knife without the premium price, I would recommend you buy it. It is a nice size and the handle feels good in your hand. I have pretty big hands and this knife feels comfortable. Good quality steel and the black matte finish is nice looking. The clip for your pocket is nice and convenient.

Beautiful blade, super sharp, great value
I used to be an exclusive Benchmade person. Those are great high quality knives but the price keeps going up where they average $200 or so. I was in the need of a sub-3" knife for my EDC but didn't want to spend $200. The CIVIVI Elementum II was recommended to me so I wanted to give it a try, and why not for $70. First the knife arrived right away, in a box with a nice lined case. I'll never use the case since this is my EDC, but it was a nice addition to store your knife if you are not going to carry everyday. First impression of the blade was that it was gorgeous. Mine was a black blade with stainless wavy Damascus steel pattern. If you like Damascus steel pattern on you blades, then this will not disappoint. You can tell immediately that this is a pattern weld Damascus steel and not laser-etched, the pattern goes all the way around the blade including the spine. The feel of the knife was perfect for my hand. Not too thick so it conceals well in my pocket but thick enough to get a good grip on the handle. The handle feels sturdy and solid, having a nice weigh to it. The blade opens easily with a simple flip. I found it easy to open and close the blade with one hand. The blade lock is a nice feature. Once the blade is open and locked in, it was secure and did not feel like it would move during use. The best part was how sharp the blade was. The blade was easily just as sharp as my Benchmade blades. Easily sliced through paper, tomatoes and some meat (I tested on various things that I would normally use my knife for around the house). The blade stayed sharp after use, but I have not used it enough to comment on how long it will hold its edge. Overall, I'm very happy with his purchase.

Great knife but keep an eye on the pocket clip
These are great knives. I’ve purchased 5 of them now for myself, my wife and each of my two daughters-in-law. They arrive razor sharp and can stay that way with periodic sharpening. I especially like the flipper function to open the blade and the button to close it. Be aware though that the pocket clip can become loose. I have been able to remove it and bend it back into the original configuration but it loosened up again and I ended up losing it in the woods, which is why I just bought another one. I’ll be more vigilant this time.

Wow!
I’ll start out by saying that I am a big lover of traditional knives. However, I really wanted one more modern style knife and was looking for what I thought would fit me best. This fits the bill so wonderfully. -First, the overall package is so nice. For the price, you get the knife, a case, a cleaning cloth, and some stickers. The zip case is very nice to have and is very soft inside. The cleaning cloth will also come in handy at times when the blade gets messy. -The feel of this knife is hand is solid! It feels high quality and well-built. It fits my hand perfectly and has a wonderful, comfortable design for holding the knife and even has a good design for a choke-up hold. -This knife is super sharp right out of the box. -The action on this knife is fluid - easy (and fun) to open and close. -I love the two was to deploy the knife and both work very well. Opening and closing this knife require intention, so it cannot be done on accident. This adds to the overall safety of using this knife. Overall, this knife is a great buy. It looks sleek, is a great carry size (not too big, but has a big enough blade for those who like a decent size). It comes sharp and ready to use. I love the additional items included in the box that make this even more of a value. It feels durable and has great action on open and close. It is also very comfortable to use. I am highly pleased with this knife and am happy that I went with this as my modern style folding knife. If on the market, I would definitely look at Civivi brand first for another knife. If you are on the fence, give this a go!

Exceptional Performance and Action – A Top-Tier EDC Tool
While the external retail packaging is quite basic for the price point, the actual contents are far more impressive. Civivi clearly invested the cost into the gear rather than a disposable box. It comes with a durable, fleece-lined padded storage case, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a few brand stickers. The internal presentation feels premium and ensures the tool stays protected when not in use. Build and Aesthetics The craftsmanship of this knife is immediately apparent. The blade features a beautiful, intricate pattern, and the overall weight is perfectly balanced—it feels substantial in the hand without being bulky. The pocket clip is well-tensioned, keeping the knife secure and deep enough in the pocket for a discreet carry. Functionality and Sharpness The mechanical action is incredibly smooth. It deploys effortlessly, and the blade release is easy to press, making one-handed retraction seamless. Most importantly, the factory edge is razor-sharp. It passed the "paper slice test" on the first try with a clean, snag-free cut from end to end. Pros: Excellent Factory Edge: Shaving-sharp right out of the pouch. Superior Balance: Feels great in the hand and easy to control. Smooth Mechanics: Reliable deployment and easy-to-operate release. Bonus Accessories: The padded case and cloth add significant value. Cons: Basic Packaging: The outer box doesn't quite match the high quality of the knife inside. Final Verdict: This is a fantastic everyday carry (EDC) knife that prioritizes performance and blade quality. If you can look past the simple cardboard box, you are getting a high-performance tool that punches well above its weight class. Highly recommended.

Excellent knife for the money
Honestly mine this knife. Sturdy build, good steel, holds an edge, one finger operation, and the clip keeps it in my pocket exactly where I like it. Best knife I've ever had and at a decent price.
