We recently bought a washer and dryer set for our laundry closet and needed a stacking kit to save space. I was a little unsure at first because our washer and dryer are smaller, not full-size units, but this kit has been working great! It came with everything we needed to safely and securely stack the units, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The brackets feel strong and well-made—no wobbling or shifting at all, even during high-speed spins. It gave us peace of mind knowing everything was locked in place properly. The added height actually made loading and unloading the dryer a bit more comfortable, too. It’s a small purchase that made a big difference in our setup. If you’re tight on space or just want a cleaner, more organized laundry area, I highly recommend this stacking kit. Solid quality and totally worth it!

I am delighted with my decision to invest in the Stacking Kit for my washer and dryer. This ingenious kit has not only saved space in my laundry area but also added a level of convenience to my daily chores. The installation process was straightforward, and the kit securely fastened my dryer on top of the washer, creating a vertical space-saving solution. This is especially valuable in smaller laundry rooms where maximizing space is essential. I can easily access both the washer and dryer without any hassle, making the entire laundry process more efficient.

Considering options in Japan for stack washer and dryer are hard to find let alone a stacker. This was perfect and highly recommended after all I had to go through. No noise and shaking like the ridiculous metal shelf which was recommended by the store staff. The leg of the shelf was bending. To top it off it cost almost 15,000 yen! The pain you have to go through to return items here is crazy. I basically had to tell them my dryer is going to fall and it will be on them and of course I had video proof. This one is easy to install and so far it not doing jumping jacks!

There are simpler methods/products like the latch screwed into the rear of your washer/dryer. Those must be compatible though, leading to this product which allows for variance in size. It wasnt too difficult to assemble and install, toughest was lifting the dryer and placing on the pads. Note that ours had misnumbering of the corners, but it was intuitive enough to complete. One final comment is that this definitely does not look "clean" or custom. The strap ratchet is unsightly (can be moved to the top). As a result, my wife wants me to hide the assembly by building a frame around it. I'd say that's personal preference...in a laundry room.

My washer and dryer are different brands and this works perfectly to stack them. It's very easy to set up and only took about 5 minutes. Hardest part is lifting the dryer up on top of the washer. The size is adjustable, but if you don't have a matched set like my case they should be pretty close to the same width (depth is less important) - probably no more than 0.5-1" difference. Luckily I think most are sized pretty close. I've been using this for about a month and it seems to be pretty durable and stable. Overall a good value.

We bought a stackable GE washer and dryer 5 years ago and unfortunately the washer started having problems that would be too expensive to fix (estimate was as much as the cost of a new washer). The new models for the products we bought 5 years ago have been upgraded and the dimensions of the new washer model no longer exactly matches our exisitng dryer so we could not stack with the recommended GE stacking hardware. It seemed wasteful to get rid of a perfectly functional dryer and buy a new one just so we can use all GE products...solution? this awesome product! This totally changed the game for us. We now have the older dryer on top of a new washer and they are stacked snug and tight together with the adjustable connecting frame held together securely with the ratchet strap. Have had this set up for months and have had the peace of mind that the stacked appliances are safely in their place. I actually feel that this set up is more secure than what we had before.

Be aware of your washer’s detergent input, if it is in the upper corners this kit will not work

I was so terrified turning our washer and dryer into a stackable set. I was worried it would tip over and injure a child or animal. This set was top notch! Extremely sturdy, it even stood up to our enormous loads of laundry after a week of camping. Very easy to set up, and was not a thick eyesore. Great price for the quality.

I replaced a broken dryer with a new one from different brand. This universal stacking kit works well for stacking the existing washer with the new dryer. Without it it would have been near impossible to do it. The product is sturdy and easy to assembly. The locking mechanism and ratchet strap secure the washer and dryer well. Good quality and do its job.

Super easy to assemble. Our dryer sits so secure on top of our washer.

For about 15 years, my 27in Kenmore front-load washer-drier were placed on the floor. After moving to a smaller space, I decided to renovate and stack the washer-drier, which also meant moving the plumbing. To save money, I did not want to buy new appliances because mine were still A+. I could not find a stacking kit for Kenmore appliances so I came to Amazon. The first one I bought mentioned it was adaptable to any brand, even though it was for LGs. In order to stack and hold the washer and drier together, there were plates to screw in the back of the appliances but Kenmore had no such openings so I had to return it. This kit is truly adaptable to any front-load washer-drier. The rack is placed on top of the washer and there are metal bars to tighten to make it fit. The cable around the washer-drier is not pretty (see pic) but since I've placed the machines inside a kitchen cabinet, it doesn't show. I would simply make sure that the washer is perfectly levelled on the floor so it doesn't move around before stacking the drier on top... not sure how much "walking" the cable is able to sustain. A little expensive for what it is but it's better than buying new appliances.
