Definitely bigger than size 3 so more coverage in the front and back to prevent leaks. Our baby had a big poop yesterday and I’m so glad we sized up, else I would’ve had to deal with a blowout. Thickness-wise, it definitely holds more pee and doesn’t need changing as much (unless the blue line is near halfway). I say it’s pretty durable and worth it. He hasn’t had rashes so far with this brand and he’s already 8 months old.*Picture is comparing our last size 3 to size 4. Doesn’t look all that different but, it definitely holds more pee and is longer. Size 3 just hits his belly button but eventually goes under his belly from constant movement and being full. On the other hand, size 4 covers his belly button and slightly higher on the back. It doesn’t fold down his belly too.

They hold 11+ hours of pee whereas other brands soaked the crib sheets. They are soft and easy to open/close with a wiggly baby. Despite all that wiggling they also stay in place and don’t open up like other brands.
