I do not know how the 30x is calculated
Feels like good magnification for make up and eye liner so absolutely delivers. The 30 times magnification does not feel correct, 3 times feels more accurate... Not that I measured.

Too sharp
The tweezers are unnecessarily sharp! I injured my self in several places trying to pluck some hairs on my eyebrow. The mirror is cool though,

For the price this is exactly what I needed. The tweezers worked surprisingly good too. I note that others complained about it not being clear but when I put it at the right focal point and distance it was almost too revealing. On that note I managed to get rid of fine hairs that I wasn't even aware of to create a smoother surface for makeup. Love it, love that it fits in my purse, happy with the purchase and price.
