This stuff worked much better than I had ever thought it would. I had an old piece that the bluing had completely worn off of. I degreased it with carburetor cleaner. And then used a soft cloth to apply it. This very quickly put on a nice deep blue luster finish. I then gave it a light coating of oil. It turned a really ugly old piece into something very nice looking. I'm not sure I would recommend this for a true collector piece but for my use it is great. It would be great, too, for blueing touchup. I would buy this stuff again and I recommend it. I tried to post a photo but Amazon's rules wouldn't let me as it was a fyrearrm🥺

Works great. Easy to use. Ordered 2 bottles - seal on lid of one leaks, but overall great product. (Not quite as dark or even as Van's)
