Tripod is not as stable as others with longer legs but seems sturdy. Have a sandbag handy if you extend the arm. Nice that it can be collapsed low when needed. Carrying bag is worthless unless you want to completely disassemble the tripod each time. Better would have been to make the bag a little longer so you only take one section out and then store two sections. That would have been very helpful as I put the tripods purchased in another bag that works better. Threaded fittings and mic clamps are cheap.
