Great picture and brightness for the low low price. Works super easily out of the box, it's nice and lightweight and easy to fit in a backpack, and works with any device Would like to give it 4.5 stars as no convenient way to use the screen in a portrait orientation when other similar products do other that from their stand, but this is a better display.

This is an excellent little monitor for the price i paid (£40), it has 1 mini HDMI port and 2 USB-C ports. If your device can supports video via usb-c then you only need the one cable as it will supply power as well. If you use the HDMI port then you will need to supply power via one of the usb-c ports, just make sure that the power adapter can supply enough power otherwise the display may just flash. The box comes with a HDMI to mini HDMI cable and a usb-c cable, there is no power supply. The speakers are functional, not great, but you shouldn't expect much for such a small monitor, the case attaches to the back of the monitor with a magnet and there are holes for a vesa mount if you wonted one. The monitor uses groves in the case to angle it, there are only 2 possible positions however. When using it the side switch controls both the volume and the brightness, if the initial press is down then it's volume, if the initial press is up then it's brightness.

I purchased this because I need to use a GMKtek NucBox G3 Plus in the bedroom occasionally. Normally, it is in the office. This was a serious case of not wanting to spend any money. This was on sale for £35.99. I do not require it for gaming, so the refresh rate was not a concern. I am a writer who does a little Photoshop and video editing, just so you know where I am coming from in this review. Packaging is nice. It comes in a good, sturdy box with foam cutouts and foam over the screen. Your delivery driver would have a hard time breaking this. It comes with all the necessary cables: mini-HDMI to HDMI, USB-C to USB-C, and a USB-A to USB-C. It also comes with a plug. The HDMI is not capable of transmitting power. The other cables do. Right now, I am plugged into an Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (CP713-3W). It is best to use external power as this will drain your battery rather quickly. (My battery health is at 82% on the Acer, so it is always plugged in. The G3 Plus uses external power, so problem solved.) I did test this using an Anker Zolo Power Bank, 10,000mAh 30W charger and it did hold out a while, however, I would only suggest it if the power is cut in your home and you are using your phone as a hotspot. It also includes a "smart cover," which is just a folding magnetic cover. Picture: not bad. It is HD, 1920 x 1080. Colours are a little flat, which I don't mind actually. I use a 4K monitor in the office and my Acer has a 2K Retina, so in some ways, this is a little easier on the eyes. It is extremely bright on 100. I have it at around 60 most of the time. Good size. 15.6" is a little wide for my tastes as I am acclimated to other screens, but it is fine. Ports: mini-HDMI and two USB-C ports, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sound: the sound is abysmal, and why wouldn't it be. The speakers are on the back and sound is muffled by the cover. Plugging in headphones does not improve the sound. The Acer has Dolby ATS, which does not transmit through the monitor. Best you stick with using your device's headphone jack or Bluetooth. There is a power button and a "turning button" that you push to get the menu and then flick up and down. Like all of these buttons, they are a little confusing at first and not too intuitive, but you'll get there. Power: supports 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V. The USB-C 3.1 is reversible insertion and reverse charging. The cover is also a stand. It will has two positions, one is about 45° and the other is about 30°. You fold the flap to "stop" the monitor from sliding past its groove. If you tip the monitor backwards, the magnets won't hold the monitor and it'll fall from it. Handy to know if you have to open your laptop to turn it on and the monitor is on top like it is in my photos. This will work with laptops, PCs, phones, tablets, and gaming systems. It can be used as a second screen. For the price, I have no complaints. As someone who did not want to spend any money on a monitor, I am quite pleased with my purchase. I suspect people who have issues with it will have high expectations for under forty quid.

I’ve bought two of these now and suggested to my friends & family who have a similar set up. Great screen, literally plugged into my Dell laptop via USB C cable and it connected straight away and has been a godsend ever since! High quality, clear display. I use for my home office set up, but my nephew uses for gaming set up and absolutely loves it. Straightforward display settings and easy to access adjustment buttons on the screen itself. It’s lightweight and very slim, making it easy to carry about if needed. Would recommend a case though as it does seem delicate. Very well packaged for delivery and arrived next day. Overall a high quality screen for a very reasonable price.

I have to admit, I was sceptical about this product because of the price and didn’t expect much from it. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a fantastic portable monitor — bright, clear, and incredibly easy to set up. I simply plugged the included USB-C cable into my laptop and the screen powered on instantly. Moving windows between the two displays was seamless, with no lag or dragging issues at all. The monitor is lightweight without feeling flimsy, and the built-in stand that also doubles as a screen protector is an excellent addition. If you need a lightweight second screen for travelling or working away from your main desk, as I often do, I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent value for money. Worked straight out of the box - easy to set up with the supplied cables. The cables are quite short so it has to sit on whichever side of the laptop the used ports are. Allows me to use my usual 2 screen set-up even when away from home.

This Yodoit 15.6-inch Portable Monitor made a very good first impression for a budget portable display. It’s a lightweight 15.6-inch 1080p 60Hz IPS monitor with good viewing angles and surprisingly high brightness. In fact, it appears brighter than my main 4K IPS monitor rated at around 300 nits. The included smart case works well both as a protective cover and as a stand, and the monitor also supports VESA mounting, which I didn’t expect at this price point. As a portable monitor, it works very well. I’ve used it as a second display for my PC as well as with gaming handhelds, consoles, and streaming devices without any issues. It also includes all the required cables in the box. Motion handling is decent enough for gaming and video playback, and text remains clear and comfortable for browsing, reading documents, and general productivity. The main compromise is colour reproduction. Compared side-by-side with my main IPS monitor, colours appear more washed out and less vibrant. Subtle details in skin tones are less noticeable, and reds can appear more dull or “rusty” rather than vivid. This is noticeable when viewing photos, videos, or games, so I would avoid using this for serious photo or video editing work. The built-in speakers are only average, but there is a 3.5mm headphone jack for better audio options. For around £40 though, this is genuinely impressive value. As long as you understand the colour limitations that come with a budget panel, this is an easy monitor to recommend for portable gaming, secondary screen use, and general everyday tasks.

Ich habe den 14 Zoll Monitor besteht, weil auf meinem MacBook Air ein Fremdkörper in der Fuge zwischen Rechner und Display das Display beschädigt hat, farbige Seitenstreifen, manchmal keine Darstellung. Apple will als Ersatz für ein neues Display über 600 € haben, daher der Versuch eines externen Displays. Dieses habe ich soeben erhalten und muss sagen, ich bin begeistert, über USB C sofortiges Plug and Play und ein sensationelles Bild, das sicher nicht schlechter ist als das Retina Display des MacBook Air. Der Monitor lässt sich locker vor das Display stellen, so dass man es eigentlich gar nicht bemerkt, man muss es natürlich jedes Mal aufstellen. Trotzdem, für ein Zehntel des Preises ein sensationelles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Volle Empfehlung.

O monitor superou minhas expectativas. A resolução da tela é muito boa e a qualidade de imagem é incrível, com excelente nitidez e cores bem definidas. Funciona perfeitamente tanto para trabalhar quanto para estudar e jogar, sem apresentar nenhum problema. Outro ponto positivo é que o monitor é bastante leve, o que facilita muito o transporte e o uso no dia a dia. A capa que acompanha o produto também é excelente: além de proteger muito bem, ela fixa firmemente na parte traseira do monitor e permite ajustar um ângulo bem confortável para segurar e utilizar o equipamento. No geral, é um monitor leve, com ótima qualidade de tela, resolução excelente e um preço muito atrativo. Ótimo custo-benefício. Recomendo!
