Secondly, I wanted to help provide sizing info, since I had a hard time deciding. My 9 year old son's waistline measured about 27 1/2 inches. Taking the guideline from the text, I ordered 2 sizes up, going with 30. It was way too big and not even the first hole could be used to secure the belt (that was still too loose). So I returned for the 28 which fits perfectly. He now uses the 2nd hole of 7, leaving 5 more holes available for future growth.
