Scared me at first cause they were a little bigger than a dollar bill. Someone suggested they increase in water and I said no. My grandson put it water after I told him not to because of returning them. Which I have never returned anything from Amazon. The kind of foam it is I didn't think could expand.... But it did! So if you are like me don't freak out. Lol!

I had heard, and when I saw them , they looked small. What I did was to run them under hot water and gently stretch them. They spread to their full size from their vacuum pack and fit my Smartpond box perfectly.

After removing them from a vacuum sealed bag they initially did not attain specified size. I then proceeded to return them as they were too small. The following day I decided to recheck them as they appeared slightly larger and found that they fit properly. So with vacuum sealed products give it a few days before sending them back.

Worked perfectly for my pond pump filter box! Make sure to let them expand out of the package overnight!

This is a total scam. Not sure who is writing these reviews but do not buy these filters. Total bull. Run from this product it is a scam......

Takes a few days to expand after releasing from the vacuum seal

The product expanded after leaving it out overnight i guess being vacuum sealed makes it shrink. The size is accurate. I apologize that I reacted right away when I saw it was shrink.

Filter pads fit perfectly, work well and are long lasting.

It was exactly what I needed for my pond pump box. Product came vacuum sealed so package was very light and small.

Not as pictured. Smaller than the provided dimensions by almost an inch quality is poor, not good value at the price. I do not recommend
