Bought this cabinet to retire an old steel file cabinet that I've had for many years and no longer need. This one fits perfectly under my workstation desk. Assembly is quite involved but easy to do once you get everything laid out. Be prepared to spend at least an hour minimum (or two) putting this together. All the parts were there (none missing) and everything fit together well. The drawer bottoms were a bit tight, so don't tighten up the screws until you get it in the slot. The hardware looks very good and seems to be pretty decent quality. The only thing I would change is the locks...each one has a different key. It would better if all were keyed the same so you didn't have to have three sets of keys. Another plus is all four wheels have locks so it won't roll around. The wheel under the front of the bottom drawer was a neat addition...to help keep the drawer from being stressed with the weight of many files (no lock on it as it's not needed). Overall, I like it and can recommend it. It'd make a great printer stand too. Do keep in mind, you must have patience when putting these type things together. If you don't have any, get someone else to do it for you.

After about 3 hours (while distracted by a show and a movie), a drill for my little office hands, an unnecessary amount of keys, and a concerning amount of spare hardware, I’m happy with how it turned out and it’ll be perfect for extra storage under my desk. Fortunately, since each key is specific to one drawer, my kids won’t be able to figure out how to unlock it and access my sharpies to redecorate. Also, given the measurements prior to purchasing, I was not surprised by the drawer space and still find it functional and serving its purpose. The cabinet feels sturdy and I would recommend it. Just grab some snacks, a drink, and pick out a movie or two. I’ll be sure to update later if the spare hardware was not in fact spare.

Warning! This is NOT a quick assembly item--so if you don't have much patience, this is NOT the File Cabinet project for you! You would need to buy one that's ALREADY assembled! That being said--it comes in a LOT of parts-&-pieces and I needed my good-torque Drill to be able to get all the screws into the wood! Also, you should put the 4-Wheels, and THEN the Top, on LAST!! NOT halfway through the beginning stage of Assembly! Despite all the struggles, the finished result is a pretty attractive & rather sturdy Wooden File Cabinet for Home & Small Business. Love the rich, brown color variations in the woodgrain! If you're NOT hard on your furniture & you take proper care of this and DON'T abuse it, then like me, I expect you'll have this File Cabinet for MANY years to come!

I expected this cabinet to be the same cardboard type material we are all used to with inexpensive assemble yourself furniture so I expected this to be no different. It’s still cheap assemble yourself furniture but the quality is definitely better than average. It took a lifetime to assemble and almost had a meltdown when I was just about done and thought I was short an important part, but I think I was just tired and hangry by that point because I found the part. Cabinet looks great. I ordered another one. Helpful tip: the track shows as two separate parts in the manual but it comes as one part. You need to extend the track all the way, look at the side for a red arrow, push the tiny lever in the direction of the arrow and pull all the way out.

I was very disappointed in it because the drawers don't pull out all the way. I needed a better file cabinet so I should have spent more money. Each drawer stops pulling out far enough so the back 4 or 5 inches is wasted space. In order to not have the files in the front all move to the back, I had to put a box of amazon nose tissue in the back of the files to keep them within reach. I should have listened to Rufus AI: it said that there are tipping issues; that happened to me, too. Even when the drawers weren't full, the cabinet tipped toward me when I tried to open a drawer. There were dozens of small parts and panels and different sizes of screws in tiny packets! It took a workman I hired took two days to put it together so that cost me a lot of money. One of the drawer panels was broken when he opened it, but it was inside the drawer so he used some wood glue I had. Worst of all, when I tried to return it for my money back, Amazon customer service said I would have to take it to a UPS to get it shipped back! I'm 76 and disabled; I'm not supposed to lift more than 5 pounds so here's no way I could lift this thing into my car much less get it out of the car at a UPS. Since I can't get it back to a UPS and Amazon won't send anyone to pick it up even though I told customer service I'm permanently handicapped, I'll just give it away or use it as a plant stand. It's pretty to look at but it's not a file cabinet that works as a FILE cabinet so if you make the mistake I did and buy it because it's affordable, you are wasting your money. As far as labeling it a Rolling File Cabinet, the label should say: Buyer Beware!

Although this cabinet comes with many parts...all pieces and hardware are clearly labeled making assembly organization easy. The bottom drawer wheel screws in no way aligned to the predrilled holes. I drilled new guide holes. The top doesnt fit snuggly, if I forced it any further I was afraid it would break. In all for the price, it will work.

Quality built file cabinet! Takes longer to assemble it but well worth it ! Looks great!

Sturdy and functional. Follow with the directions (and have an electric drill available for easier assembly. I put it together on my own in about 2 hours. FYI sometimes you will read a word that’s not typically used - like when installing the lock- they said add the “circle”.. which is a circular metal piece that goes on the outside of the draw block — it doesn’t “insert” on its own around the lock so I used a tool to push it on best possible You could do without- it’s a cosmetic piece.

Very easy to put together and look is very nice
