Quiet and easy to use
This is a great humidifier if you are looking for a quietness while it is running. This works well for my basement , especially during the rainy season. It also has a drain hose that safely drains out the water and you can see how much it drains to know actually it works great. Great addition to my home. Will totally recommend it. It comes with a user manual and it is actually simple to learn how to use it. The size is perfect for my house which is ~2500 sq ft.

Tiny water compartment
Works well for basement. Can Confirm the water compartment is tiny but knew that going in. Price is good for what it can do. If you can look past the spelling errors on the instruction foldout - you will be fine (though a bit cringy)

tank fills up even when using the drain hose.
Unit seems to work well humidity-wise, and water is coming out the drain hose.But.. This morning I went down into the basement and the unit was shut down due to a full tank.Emptied the tank, unit started up and water is coming out the hose.. but I'll have to keep an eye on it.The unit is not useful to me if I have to manually empty the tank.ETA: returned.
