Cygni: All Guns Blazing (PS5)

Magnificent shooter from Konami. Very sweet surprise. Great schumps are getting pumped out like they use to and this is an instant classic. US/Canadian version is out of print. You may have to fork out over a $100 to get yourself a copy.

So I'm not the best shmup player. I love them anyway. So from my perspective, this game is truly difficult. It may not be for better players. The control is fantastic, graphics are truly something special compared to most shmups. The play is not unlike Raiden where you have different attacks for ground vehicles and airborne vehicles. However, in this game the play between the two is really cool. One early mini boss rises off the ground so you have to adapt. Also, one of my pet peeves with most shmups is that you're playing with black bars on either side of the screen. Not here. Full 16:9 play area. I'm enjoying it enough to keep trying to get better, which in itself is a great recommendation. Thanks, Konami! Now release all your classic Gradius games!!!

Excellent game! It’s best to start in the easy mode because normal is really hard. Build up your ship by playing in easy and then go from there.

ItS REALLY fun but ut DID crash 2 diffrent PS5s and had some gnarly and unhelpful slowdown but if you like shmups and can tolerate a little nonsense in performance ( unless it got an update or fixed in a later print run if tgere was one) it's worth it.

I love Gradius so when I heard Konomi was releasing this game I had to jump on it. It's really good and fast passed, different from Gradius but in a good way and it's definitely harder, I just wish the levels had checkpoints so when after you die you don't start back from the beginning but that's my only gripe

Seriously E for everyone and 10 plus??? When you open the game within the first minute it shows a woman pilot getting dressed and walking off…. Ass out with white low coverage panties pulling on pants. Every time you start a level you get a back view of the pilots butt in panties. Lol, merry Christmas this is absolutely not an E for everyone game. All the panty butt shots of the pilot are not needed and they are throughout the game.

Un juego difícil pero no imposible. Hace tiempo que no disfrutaba tanto un shoot’em up tan dinámico. Cuenta con una breve historia, pero interesante; buena música, curva de aprendizaje mediana. La verdad recomendable.

I always enjoyed playing this type of game, but by no means does it make me an expert at it. This one turns out to be quite challenging, but not hard in a frustrating way. There are a few difficulty levels which makes it enjoyable for everyone. Once you start completing levels and upgrading your ship, the game does seem to get easier. I would also add that this game is believed to be an Amazon exclusive. It certainly has the potential to be a hidden gem down the road. Highly recommended!
