This is the Best MPPT Solar Charge Controller!
I love the BlueTooth feature. This Victron charges up my (2.1 Kwh NMC) battery super Fast! Using 800W of ECOFLOW PV, it keeps my battery exactly (50.15v) where I set it. Modern Victron MPPT technology exactly is what I need to is replace my old PWM chargers. It runs cool (about 90F, no fan required) and the price is amazing compared to my old PWM brand. Configuration is very easy with the app. The information charts/graphs the app provides is more than enough to fine-tune my system for best performance.

*VICTRON* When you want quality, function, bluetooth and reliability.
I recently purchased two *Victron 100/20 Smart solar charge controllers for my (off-grid/on-grid) solar ranch project. These controllers are very versatile and compatible with any 12v, 24v, or 48-volt system and are rated up to 100 volts max / 20 amps max. Currently, these controllers are managing two 480-watt 24-volt solar arrays and two 24-volt x 400Ah battery banks. I plan to expand to a 48-volt system soon using the same controllers. The Bluetooth function is very handy for changing settings and monitoring your system. I didn't see a real need for a display screen on the unit itself (unlike a few reviews I've read) since you can carry the display screen with you using the phone app. I'm sold on *VICTRON*. Spend a couple more dollars and get the best. Five ***** Stars!

Nice mppt coontroller
What a great little solar charger! Works flawlessly with my panels. And easy to navigate. Be sure to get the smart solar version.

Swiss army knife of small solar charge controllers.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The 100/20 is a great and versatile charge controller. It can be used with any battery voltage from 12v-69.5v though the documentation says 12v-48v. You can adjust nearly any setting in the Victon connect app which is updated regularly. The app only gets better with time. This isn't some terrible update that makes makes you wish you hadn't updated, it is an actual improvement. The updates are strored within the app so you can actaully update the firmware without cell service. The load function is great and anything connected to the load terminal will be measured and readable in the app. I can plug in nealy any DC item that I own to test how many watts it uses. I can also test USB cables to see which ones will work best by checking load readings in the app. You can also use the Load function to activate a light at dusk for x amount of hours or until sunrise. You can program the load to turn off at a certain Voltage as well. If this charger fits the specifications that you need, buy it, you will not be disappointed. There are slightly cheaper options out there but this one has the best feature to cost ratio available in my opinion.

Once you go Victron, it's hard to downgrade to anything else
This thing has been rock solid for months in sunny Southern California. I like the ability to monitor via Bluetooth on my phone, though I wish there was a Windows application too. I have this paired with a 75/15 controller using VE.Smart networking, charging my 24v LiFePO4 battery bank that powers my office. It's great that I started with the bank at 12v, but wanted to get more power out of my solar panels so I switched to 24v and MPPT controller just works with the new battery profile. There was no hassle to switch over, just plug and play and pick a different profile in the app.

Works
Work as expected, accessories are expensive. App works thru bluetooth not wi-fi (unless you buy more stuff). The app is good, and was easy to setup and use.

Just about the best MID-size MPPT controller out there
Summary: I have evaluated quite a few MPPT controllers for Vine, and while all were decent, the Victron Energy (VE) has high ratings, so I decided to purchase one for evaluation. My solar/PV system specs: 1000W of panels; 24-volt, 270Ah marine battery bank (Optima); Voltworks 2000W inverter. Using the system to reduce our electricity bill. Observations: The first thing to notice is that this one, unlike most others, does not have a control panel (just three LEDs); which means you'll need a smart device to read the values. There are two basic VE offerings: this SmartSolar (built-in bluetooth), and BlueSolar (requires a BT dongle). Between the two, I went with the built-in BT (SmartSolar). One great feature of the VE system, is that it allows the MPPTs to communicate with each other via BT; which is a great feature for a larger system. Recommendations: One reason to choose the lower cost BlueSolar over the SmartSolar, is if you do not need the additional features that the BT brings; but for me, I didn't mind spending the extra $30-40 (per controller) to gain those features. Pros: Industrial quality & features; good application support (firmware updated upon first connect); security (bluetooth); good/efficient charging algorithm; good data and graphs. Cons: No built-in display (offset by the much better app and graphs). Conclusion: At $160, rating this 5-stars. Of all the MPPT controllers I have reviewed, this is the recommended one. )

I bought a GIARIDE 100W 18V 12V Solar Panel Sunpower Cell and a Sunix 20A 12/24 charge controller and hooked it all up with a 12v AGM battery. Was not inmpressed with the Sunix charge controller, it appeared to allow a significant discharge of the battery and really failed to recharge it despite the panel being in or outside the window. It also really didn't provide much in the way of the battery status and really i was surprised that in 2 weeks of zero use, the battery was still basically unusable. Poking around the web and on Amazon, I came across these Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers which use a different battery monitoring and charge process to manage the battery charging and can get up to 30% more into the battery than a standard PWM (Sunix) controller can. Also this particular model has built in bluetooth to connect to the Android/IOS app which is great. I also purchased the Victron ve. Direct cable so that I could connect this to a computer and monitor remotely by connecting back to the computer. I can confirm that the bluetooth and the ve. Direct cable can be used at the same time without any issues. Also note that higher models of this appliance 100/30 and so on have only four connectors like the 6 this has. The key difference is that this unit can manage load directly where when you move up to larger solar installations, load will be managed by another device like the Battery Protect and/or Victron inverter which will cut load when the battery level drops to a given threshold. Yes it's expensive compared to cheaper PWM controllers but I have to say that I'm really, really impressed with this. I stupidly rushed the swap-out of the Sunix controller and got the Battery and Solar mixed up with no damage to the device :-) Bizarrely, the battery polarity is the opposite way round to all the other input/outputs so be careful there... My only real complaint is that the cable sockets are quite small and it really struggled to get the cables in... (Victron really want you to move up to the larger models). Overall I'm really happy with this, no major complaints, it's solid, very well manufactured and very straightforward to set up.
