You do have to be somewhat gentle. One of mine does have a crack in it from probably pulling the coat off.

I've had to order two of them because they break easily with a little pressure. One time I was getting my car detailed and the person cleaning my car put a Peacoat on it along with the suit jacket that was already on it, and it broke. Another time my dog hit it, what I didn't think was very hard and it broke. It does the job, don't get me wrong. Just a little too easy to break I guess.

I really like this item for my suit coats but it blocks my view when I need to look over my left shoulder to check my blind spot. I use it but don't feel safe with a jacket on it.

Keeps coats nicely hung and wrinkle free, but if you are short like me, it will block your view of the back seat. With my coat hanging, I cannot see keep an eye on my child in the carseat behind me.

Received product with a broken cover. When I opened the packaging, one of the plastic covers was pulling apart. The tab that the screw goes into snapped. Did not bother to return because of shipping cost.

One of the two orders is great fit in the toyota prius. But, the other one broke easily in the BMW x5

Flimsy at best, does not hold well in headrest supports so the wright of your jacket may make it a little difficult to put on hanger. Should have a tightening bolt to allow better grip

Excellent quality. Very useful to hang my jacket.
