Pool Hose Clamp Wrench Secret
I came across this tool by accident several years ago and was looking for another one for my son. If you have ever tried to tighten hose clamps you know that the bands can strip if you over tighten them. In addition, if you don't tighten them enough your hoses can slip off when under pressure, such as pool hoses from the pool to the pump and return. The wrench is made specifically for those type clamps and will not over or under tighten them. To me, its the best kept secret in the industry. Neither Lowes nor Home Depot nor Harbor Freight nor my pool store nor an automotive store I went to ever heard of this tool. Since using this tool my pool hose clamps have never caused any loss of water from my pool because they are perfectly tightened now. They just don't slip any more.

Good affordable option for non-pros.
I will take a star or two away the moment this little guy fails, but so far have torqued a couple dozen clamps for the Fernco no-hub couplings and it's worked great. Comparing it to my inspector's fancy one, I can see that mine (this one) is a cheaper build and will not last years as his has. But am I glad I didn't spend three or four times as much at the building supply chains to torque a few couplings? Yup. Does this one seem as accurate as the better-quality ones? Yup.

Best tool!
Best tool for hose clamps, I use this tool for my oars (pins and clips) to tighten my hose clamps. I haven’t had my oar blades shift since and I’ve been in huge water, class IV rapids and I have taken some pretty big hits to some rocks and nothing has shifted.

Don’t buy stop working in 3 months with hardly any use
Don’t buy cheap products did not last more that 3 months the clutch went out I on wrench . I use this more like a throwing boomerang or a hammer (garbage cheaply made wont last )spend money elsewhere like a rigid one which I have now

does exactly what it advertises
Irrigation worker/person here. Yes these do exactly what you want, 60 in/lbs torques a 5/16" work gear clamp to. Pretty straight forward. good price.
