I had to buy this because I picked up a Holzfeller crank without realizing you HAVE to use this BB. I then realized I needed the tool to torque it properly. I said screw it, I'm not pay another $20 for a socket. I wrapped each cup with electrical tape and used a pipe wrench. Worked great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great product at unbelievable price *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on July 15, 2016* These have a proprietary bearing size that is not replaceable, but the entire bottom bracket is less expensive than a set of high quality bearings which makes it disposable I guess.My first one lasted 9 years and early on in its life was ridden for several miles completely submerged in water. Istall was simple for myself (experienced mechanically). Action has been very smooth. I have not had any creaks. One wouls want to be sure to have a compatible crankset to fit this.
