Have not tried it yet, but it looks realy good, came well packed, really heavy. Everything I was expecting! The ball is just perfect size for me!

We are big fans of Andrew James having also got the Volcano waffle maker. With three boys it is a firm favourite and build quality is good.

The first fondue set arrived damaged and when notified he seller he send me a replacement which was alright. Have used the set to make fondue few times and it’s very nice, sturdy and does job well. Value for money, looks way more expensive than it is. Giving four star for a minor scratch on the second product too.

This fondue maker is dangerous for my health, chocolate fondue is far too yummy! We've made both chocolate and cheese fondue in this and it works great. The height is just right above the Brennpaste fondue gel pots (bought separately) to melt. Once it's melted it takes a bit of fiddling with the crude lid to close off the flames so the fondue doesn't burn but it works. You could use a tea light but it would take considerably longer to melt and will put black soot on the bottom of the pot. Also, be careful with the metal skewers as they will scratch the bottom of the pot. The little rubber feet fall off the cast iron stand but I'll glue these on. One last tip: put it on a heat resistant surface or use a heat resistant mat underneath to protect your table.

18 for dinner and the fondue (plus three other fondues) was an amazing success, venison and beef fillet steak, scallops, prawns, swordfish, squid and octopus plus veg dishes for our green friends. They all went in and came out perfect, blue, raw, medium or well done, whatever you prefer! Great choice of meal for a group, but don't drink too much, as knocking over a pot of boiling oil could be unconfutable!

Looks very neat. All parts are in place, I was a bit co cerned that the lid may not close well, as this was one the biggest issues that I've noticed other users describe. All in all, it looks very well, quite heavy, as it's cast iron, but I hope it will keep the heat very well. Also, the pot is rather big, I would say that it could be used for meat fondue as well. I hope this info is usefull!

Super appareil, fonctionne parfaitement pour tout types de fondues ( savoyarde, bourguignone et meme au chocolat). L'appareil est composé de pics fourchettes adaptés, et de couleur différentes, il n'est ni trop grand ni trop petit, parfait pour un milieu de table et très mignon en plus. Je recommande vivement, très bon rapport qualité/prix.

On a tous eu affaire à ces appareils à fondue cheap qui rendent l'âme au bout de deux hivers. Celui-là c'est une autre histoire. De la vraie fonte émaillée, lourde, solide, qui chauffe uniformément et qui en impose sur la table. Plusieurs années au compteur et il est toujours impeccable, aucune dégradation, aucune mauvaise surprise. Pour le prix c'est franchement compétitif face à ce qu'on trouve en magasin pour de la fonte véritable. Un investissement qu'on ne regrette pas.

Suite à la livraison de l'appareil à fondue, il s'avère qu'il nous manque un tampon du support. Pouvez-vous faire le nécessaire ? Sinon le service est conforme à sa représentation.
