The suction in good enough that it picks up the dust without sucking up bricks. I usually use a soft makeup brush to brush and loosen dust in difficult to reach spots and then follow it up with with the vacuum. Because of the way that it traps and holds dirt it is very easy to pick out any bricks that may accidentally get sucked up before you empty it (in the event that you accidentally vacuum up loose bricks). The filter is also fairly easy to clean; when it has gotten particularly filthy I have easily cleaned it with water and then set it out to dry before putting it back. .
Review: Great for Stink Bug capture and Disposal - If you have a stink bug problem like we do in our house, this mini vac: is fantastic. Just suck the critter into the unit: they can't get out. It's easy to dispose of them later: just open the tube and tap them into the garbage disposal. I know it's not designed for this, but it's an easy way to get rid of these pests. Works every time.

**Q: Can it be used inside a desktop box for dust around the cpu, fans, and pci cards?**
A: No. Do not use this for cleaning inside of computer. From what I can tell they are not using any sort of anti static technology which means static can build up and discharge into your computer parts and destroy them. This is why technicians use compressed air. If vacuum has blow setting you can use that.

**Q: Where can I get more filters?**
A: mine came with 3 filters which can be washed and reused.

**Q: What does the red light in the end of the grip signify?**
A: It means you need to charge it up again, using the USB cable included.

**Q: How loud is this vacuum? It says a little louder than speaking volume, but my coworkers are on the phones.**
A: When it first starts up, it’s quite soft, but as time progresses during use, the motor gets a little louder. Unless you’re planning on using it for a long period of time, I don’t think it’s loud enough to bother your co-workers. Then again, your unit may be softer or louder than mine, so it’s really hard to say.

This little USB vacuum is great. My package did NOT include the gel pad. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Once charged this vacuum has lots of suction. I was able to remove accumulated, embedded dust and lint from between the keys of two heavily used keyboards. I did not make any effort to get the missing gel pad, I opted ordered a five pack of gel pads.
