My 12M old's favorite cup
My son has been using this cup since he was 6 months old. It was the only cup that he could successfully use. We tried multiple kinds (munchkin 360 cup, traditional sippy cup, etc) and this was by far the best one. The weighted straw really helps him drink. The handles make it easy for him to hold on and I love that the lid open/closes for easy transport. Now that he's almost 13 months, we have again offered him multiple cups and sippy cups and this is still his go to. We've ordered 2 more so he has 4 now. The only thing I'm not a fan of is how complicated it is to clean. There are 2 silicon pieces that are very small but the cup comes with a teenie tiny straw cleaner (the smaller brush I've ever seen in my life LOL) but it's still the best sippy cup hands down. There was a small learning curve when he was first learning to drink from it but it took him maybe a day or two to figure it out. Couldn't recommend this cup more.

Great Cup for Little Ones
I really like this cup for my baby. The handles are very comfortable and make it easy for my baby to hold independently, while the lid helps prevent spills. I also like that it’s lightweight and easy to clean. The design is cute, and the size is perfect for taking it with us when we go out. Overall, I think it’s a great option for little ones who are learning to drink on their own. 🍼💙

“Perfect Little Cup for Everyday Use” 💙
Really happy with this little Dr. Brown’s cup! 💙 My baby took to it pretty quickly, and I love that it’s easy for little hands to hold. It feels sturdy without being too heavy, and it’s been really convenient for everyday use. It’s also easy to clean, which is definitely a plus for us. Overall, it’s a simple, well-made cup that we’ve been enjoying a lot.

One of our favorites
The only cup my toddler wanted to use from the moment we introduced water to him. Now we own several different styles of cups for him (straight straw, open cup, tumbler style, etc.) and this is still his preferred cup (mine too due to the leak-free-ness 😂). He loves to drink ice water but it does melt quickly, it is not an insulated cup so I didn’t expect it to. It’s a great size and the weighted straw is great for kids just learning how to drink from a cup of any kind. The straw is pretty sturdy even though my toddler went through a phase of trying to chew on it. The only con, which isn’t really the cup’s fault, is that if your little gets too accustomed to the weighted straw, they’ll have trouble understanding how to use other kinds of cups without weighted straws. So maybe don’t use this as cup #1 forever and offer a variety. He’s figured out other cups for the most part though and it won’t hurt anyone 😂 pick your battles, right? We’ve bought several of these over time also. You REALLY have to shake this cup hard to get any kind of leak.

Great Training Cup for Little Ones Learning to Drink Independently
Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup has been a great transition cup for my child. The weighted straw design is especially helpful because it allows little ones to drink from different angles, making it easier for them to learn how to use a straw independently. The cup is well-made, easy for small hands to hold, and helps minimize spills during everyday use. I also like that the lid stays secure and the straw encourages proper oral development while making hydration more enjoyable. I'm giving it 4 stars because cleaning the straw and its components can take a bit of extra effort, and occasional leaks may occur if the cup is tossed around in a diaper bag. However, these are minor drawbacks compared to the overall functionality and quality. Overall, this is a reliable training cup that supports the transition from bottles or sippy cups to straw drinking. I would definitely recommend it to parents looking for a practical and child-friendly option.

Only one that’s worked for us so far!
This is hands down the best straw cup we’ve tried. My daughter struggled to figure out other straw cups, but she was able to drink from this one with no problem. We have been trying different cups for months and It’s actually the only straw cup she can consistently use on her own. The handles make it easy for little hands to hold, and it’s been great for transitioning her to drinking from a straw. Definitely recommend if your baby is having trouble with other straw cups!

Works but could be better
For the price, this is a great bottle to start your little one on before open cup drinking. There's only 2 issues that make it not a perfect product for me. 1. It has a tendency to get gunky/mold. The lid area has a lot of really small crevices that are hard to clean unless you have special tools. Even if you're just giving your kiddo water out of this cup, over time small food particles + spit from their mouth will get in and around this area and make it easier for it to get gross unless you're able to get something in there to scrub it. I wash mine daily and boil sanitize once a week and it's still really hard to get it completely clean, quickly at least. 2. There must be some kind of fault with the design that makes it a bit finicky with leaking SOMETIMES. Strangely, sometimes this water bottle leaks even when I've checked the tightness of the top and if all the parts are properly inserted/aligned. Even with everything seemingly in order, it will still very slightly leak. Not a huge problem for me since I only out water in this cup and it isn't usually a large/fast leak. It's just weird and annoying sometimes if the cup is in a bag or leaves a small puddle wherever you set it down

Perfect Starter Cup for Babies Learning to Sip
I bought this Dr. Brown’s Baby’s First Straw Cup for our grandson as he’s starting to transition from bottles, and it’s been a great little training cup for him. The weighted straw is the best part — it lets him drink from any angle without getting frustrated, making it easier for him to learn to use a straw the right way. The cup is lightweight and easy for small hands to hold, and the silicone straw is gentle on gums. It doesn’t leak when tipped over, which is a huge help when you’re dealing with a busy baby who likes to explore. The lid flips open smoothly, and the whole cup comes apart easily for cleaning. I also like that it’s dishwasher‑safe on the top rack, because anything that saves time and keeps things properly sanitized is a win in our house. The size is perfect for little ones, and the design feels sturdy without being heavy. A simple, practical straw cup that helps babies learn, keeps spills to a minimum, and cleans up easily — exactly what you want during that transition stage.

Serves the purpose but a lot of cons
Problem I had with this item: 1. It leaks 2. The inner ball doesn’t quite come up when my toddler lies down, making it difficult to drink since it mentions that the inner straw moves as the baby changes positions but it doesn’t. Only okay when they are standing or in an upright position 3. Milk pours out when you try to open the lid making it messy. I only kept it because I urgently needed a sippy cup or else this would have been a return

Poor
I did not receive what is advertised! The lid is also scratched. And looks cheap. I’m not convinced that this is an original DrBrowns bottle!!!! Feels like cheap plastic
