These are well worth the price. I hall cars on my car trailer all the time. I use these instead of the hook on the ratchet straps for long hauls for peace of mind. I would definitely would buy again

I use shackles for strap/sling rigging and vehicle recovery. I use 3/4”, 5/8”, and 1/2” size shackles. I prefer the 5/8” size as their lift rating is more than adequate. This set are a great value and function.

The product themselves are strong and durable. The bumps and rattling of offroading will make the bolts unscrew themselves and fall off. So use thread locker.

These are good shackles, I needed some smaller ones to keep with a Warn Power-Pull electric wench and they fit the bill perfectly. I am not sure if they are cast or forged, they appear very smooth with a good powder coating

These things are great. I had drilled holes into the tips of my tractor forks in order to put a tow ball on either. Recently I bought some implements for it that needed to be picked up but wouldn't roll back. I had also bought a couple of slings, but they ended up sliding when I tilted back. These little gems fit perfectly and do exactly what I want them to. I can attach them to my forks, affix the slings, and then lift my load. I have bought a set of 3' and 7'. These things making precise placement of heavy objects so much easier. That includes over a 5' fence. So much easier than letting something slide off the forks, and then bouncing. Fantastic price point too.
