I have found my forever butter dish! This is a heavy, classy, and good quality ceramic piece that serves its purpose well. It holds 2 1/2 standard sticks of butter, which is great for not having to constantly refill. Our climate is pretty mild most of the time so butter sits out on the counter without issue most of the year, but even when a little heat wave hit us the butter was kept better than usual. There is no seal on the lid, as such, but as heavy as the lid is it keeps the butter in good condition. We've had no issue with mold or even the slight melting we had with just regular plastic containers with sealed lids. It looks pretty out on the counter as well. Great purchase.

Beautiful! Very sturdy and has a nice weight to it. Holds a good amount of butter. I am going to be getting the bar or butter next and I have no doubt it will fit nicely. Will be getting more items from this collection for our kitchen !

It’s large! We buy butter from the farm in large rolls and this fits the size perfectly, once cut to size. Standard butter dishes are usually smaller. It’s minimalist and nice looking.

Very happy with this purchase. Just arrived, so lets see how it holds up. 🤞Very well packaged, arrived in perfect condition. Material is a sturdy and heavy enameled ceramic, about 35oz (weight in picture is dish with 2 sticks of butter inside 😉). Fits 2 sticks of butter with room to spare. Dish is just over 2 inches tall (with out lid on). Color matches my kitchen perfectly. Label indicates that it is dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand washed it before use, no problems. Would recommend.

Very pretty and works great but it is difficult to open if you have small hands and gripping is difficult

I love Mora! I have the dinner plates and salad plates and they've been great! They stack nicely in my cabinet too. The butter dish is very nice. I like to keep it on the counter to keep butter soft. Just the right size and looks great.

Less than a month in and this has already become a daily counter staple. A standard stick of butter fits right in with no squeezing or extra room, and the lid has a great, snug seal so it’s not just sitting out exposed. The French butter crock design is doing exactly what it’s supposed to: the butter stays soft and spreadable without melting into a puddle, which was my main frustration with just leaving a stick out on a plate. The ceramic itself feels sturdy and well made in hand, not thin or flimsy like some of the cheaper butter dishes I’ve tried. No trade-offs to report so far, it’s been simple and consistent every single day.
