They work great with all aluminum blocks. Hope I never need them again!
These removed the stubborn boat from my BMW engine, which has an aluminum block. Without these I wouldn’t have been able to do anything and I would’ve had to take it to a machine shop. Very good quality.

Works as intended
It worked perfectly for its intended purpose, removing a stubborn rounded bolt. It grips the head well, even at an angle. I only used it a few times, so can’t speak for its durability, but so far so good.

Not sure it could be better!
I literally stopped what I was doing in the middle of a brake job in a rust belt truck to write a review on this extractor set. I’ve had expensive sets be one and done. They work but they don’t work again great. I’ve used this set for the better part of a year now, over and over, and it still works like the day I opened it which is FLAWLESSLY. Don’t hesitate. Stop looking. Get this one

Double check the socket's
I purchased this from a coworkers recommendation because of how often we deal with striped nuts and bolts, when it arrived the sockets were all over the place which isn’t a problem at all, but while putting all the sockets back into place I found that I was missing a 17mm and they gave me a double 9/16 socket. Other than that it works extremely well, especially all the in betweens for the smaller sizes

Great tool set for the arsenal.
Bolt stripped out on transmission plug. This worked perfectly.

Worked in a tight place
This kit includes many sockets that are 1/4 in drive, which makes the body of the socket much thinner. I had a tight space in the back of my engine near the firewall and all of the other extractor sets could not spin as they were too wide. With the small size and the 1/4 in drive I had enough space to get the bolt out. Also used another one with my 1/2in dewalt impact driver, and it worked great. Not too bad signs of wear after impact hits, would recommend.
