How long is the hook?

It is adjustable. Max is probably 2 or 3 inches I think. After you hook it to your vent, you turn the dial and it shrinks to fit snugly

will this hook up on my toyota camry 2020 air vent?

I'm not sure about makes/models of cars. I bought this car holder for Android phones.

Does it rotate left to right?

It rotates left and right, to be either vertical or horizontal.

Will this work with the iPhone 12 mini?

I have the Iphone 13 Pro and it's snug but I'm not sure what the 12 mini would feel like. It's not on the list for compatible phones though. It might be too short. I really have no idea. I don't think I've ever held a mini version of an Iphone haha! I know it's not much help, I'm sorry! I just don't want to steer you in the wrong direction.
