Best rc plane for kids I’ve found and it’s fun for adults too
This is AWESOME! My four year old can fly it, my three year old can even make it go and land without damage. Even I find it super fun to fly around. I really am glad I bought this and may buy another, it’s just so fun.

Fun
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The DEERC RC Plane is an absolute blast and perfect for beginners of all ages—kids and adults alike. It’s easy to fly right out of the box thanks to the 6-axis gyro stabilizer, and the controls are super intuitive. The three included batteries give you plenty of flight time for real fun, not just a quick spin. Durable, lightweight, and forgiving during crashes—great for learning without frustration. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to dip into RC flying without the steep learning curve.

Write your name on it! 🤣
**NEW** Hack: Used a paper clip(s) to make my own landing gear replacement(s). Warning: if the controller is turned off or goes out of range, the plane will continue with the last input - and keeeeeeeps flying… which explains my first outing (story time below) when it went waaaayyyy outta range. Paper Clip story: The landing gear came off after the fifth outing. The plane flew fine without it, but we didn’t like that it would crash on the switch (which is located on the belly of the plane), and could potentially slam into hard or wet surfaces. So I found a small paper clip that was about the right gauge of the original landing gear, and it seems to work fine as an expendable replacement. And now that we’ve been at it a few times, the kiddo is better at flying longer (landing it less), and landing more softly, so we aren’t losing them as often. The landing gear slot doesn’t have a locking mechanism, so we the landing gear (replacement) still comes off, but I don’t have to get in as much of a tizzy because I know we can replace it. No, I didn't try making/replacing wheels cuz I didn’t have anything light enough (yet). You can’t do a rolling takeoff from the ground… but we couldn’t really do it with the original wheels anyway, so not that big of a diff. It’s been about a 30 - 45 min outing with the three fully charged batteries. **Original Review** The plane is super easy to fly. My seven year old learned to how to take off and land in a few tries. I was pleased that he was very interested in reading the instructions as normally he doesn’t want anything to do with books/learning. The pack also comes with spare propellers, three batteries for the plane, and two chargers (standard USB connector) for the plane batteries; you will need to supply 3 AA batteries for the controller. You have the ability to turn off the (what was once annoying) lights underneath the plane if you want to. We left ours on - it saved the plane! Recommend you write your name, contact info on it… the range on it is too good! 🤣 Story time!!! So… we learned a good weather lesson the day after Christmas when the plane took off and didn’t come back. We were in a nice open park, no obstructions for 200 ft around. But once the plane climbed higher than the surrounding trees it was gone. The wind picked it up and the plane accelerated towards the edge of the park. I prompted my kiddo to bring it back, he showed me that he no longer had controls of the plane - we had lost the ability to control direction of flight. My heart sank. I aimed the camera in the direction of where I saw it last a few extra seconds and stopped recording. After putting on my best brave face, we changed our gears into a search and rescue mission. We reviewed the video - found a flash of neon pixel spiraling down (I had never been so happy to be proven wrong about something - the lights are a must when you’re looking for the darned thing), and launched our door to door campaign to recover our favorite present. After meeting thirtyish of our neighbors looking for our downed aircraft, I was about ready to call it quits, and started drafting the “lost airplane” poster in my head. That’s when the Boxing Day Miracle happened. I looked up at the next neighbor’s roof. No way! There was our plane. 750 ft away … it managed to land not in the trees, not in a yard, but on an street-side-eave of the last house we checked. It was a tearful reunion of joy. I’m not flying for a while. But when I do, imma write my “Return to…” info before takeoff. If you’ve got a way to track it… do it.

Greatest dog toy ever devised
We discovered this was an excellent tool to exercise our dog, barking chasing jumping for as long as weather permits. Chomps are inevitable as she gets tired, but they hold up most of the time and a glue gun will extend the life considerably, I've had these fly like new after literally reattaching wings that were shredded. The added weight of the glue actually seems to make them fly better if there's any breeze whatsoever. We go through roughly 2 per month being sure to always have a backup or two on hand. Much cheaper than a dog walker and kids have a blast shooting at them with nerf guns too. Highly recommend blasting the Top Gun 2 soundtrack from a boombox while flying for added enjoyment.

Awesome little plane. Great for beginners.
I got this for my 8 year old son. I have been flying rc airplanes for decades and I wanted to get him into flying as well. So far it has been great. It flies very well, super slow so you have plenty of time to react to things happening. It has plenty of power and reacts to control inputs very well. The battery holder is the only drawback and installing batteries is annoying but other than that this thing is great.

Great while they work, If you have to repair them throw them away (update)
Two of our grandsons (9 and 11) played with these for about an hour each of the last 2 days. They love them. They are much more controllable than a little helicopter like drones and it is easy to keep track of their orientation making maneuvers easier to control. Having 3 batteries for each is great and they charge fast, so as one dies plug it in to recharge, endless fun. They come with only one set of wheels. That is a weak point. Both planes have had lost parts of the landing gear. An extra set of landing gear would be great. There are 2 extra propellers - none of the originals were broken. Since I bought 2 of these, the first grandson that paired his plane actually paired both planes. We finally figured out that the second plane would have to be paired again with the second controller. This solved the issue. The kids (and me) probably got them up to 100 feet in our cul-de-sac and they responded just fine. Our cul-de-sac isn't huge, but it is enough room to fly these without losing them. We had only one land on a roof. Impressive. UPDATE: (3 stars) We have since bought 5 more planes as the kids have crashed the originals. They still love them in light wind, any kind of wind and they cannot be used. My biggest gripe is repair. The planes come with extra propellors, which is nice. 2 of the 5 broke propellors. I replaced them on both units and the replaced props do not have the same power as they did originally. This causes the plane to taxi in a circle and cannot fly anymore. The replacement prop has to be an opposite pitch than the other prop, no where does it tell you this. My guess is pulling off the old prop the motor gets damaged. Instructions need to be developed on how to repair these planes. After 1 day of use 2 of the 5 planes are inoperable.

Decent. After few fun flights and usage the turning on and off bottom got distroyed during one landing and plane never worked again. Not best quality but ok , especially when compared to competition at similar price range out there.

Did it's job as advertised, struggles with slightest breeze but to be expected for this feather weight plane. Having the 3 batteries handy ensures a decent amount of flying time.

Funziona bene ed è molto divertente. Vola meglio con una moneta da 2 o 5 centesimi attaccato al muso. Il venditore è stato esemplare nel mandarmi subito il manuale in inglese.
