A: Yes, you can use it.... You have to purchase universal tripod mobile holder with this product.... just placed that holder in this tripod and use your mobile... One end of holder is very elastic u can easily fit ur mobile....

**Q: Is it compatible with Nikon D5300 with 70-300mm lens**
A: It is not safe to use such a big lense DSLR with this light weight tripod. Don't take a risk.

**Q: Is it compartible with smartphones?**
A: No but if you buy a phone pod with this or of u hav a selfie stick u may remove the phone stand from it and fix it in this.

**Q: Is it compatible with nikon d3200**
A: Yes it should. Iam using d3300 so it would also work with d3200

Tripod seems good but mobile holder is gets loose after days of use. If you not getting it for adventure stuff then can buy for STILL PHOTOGRAPHY.
