They hold a great charge, typically 2 nights worth (use to walk in and out of deer stand) and the multiple light configurations is ideal. Super bright, easy to wear and very lightweight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bang for buck *by M***T on April 2, 2025* Surprisingly good for the price. It has floodlights and focused lights (FYI, can't be used simultaneously), you can tilt the body downward, and the battery life at first use seems pretty good, should last maybe 2-4 dog walks on a single charge, depending on the length of the walk, that's just a total guess because I haven't tried them yet in real world use, I've had one sitting on high on my desk and it's only drained 1 of 4 bars in the 20-30 minutes it's been on. The strap seems pretty standard, stretchy and resizeable. I have a large head and it fits me fine. The body is plastic, which is expected for this price. There's a small foam piece where it contacts your forehead; not grippy but not slippery, and does the job of padding. The function to wave to turn it on/off works well, though you don't want to use this feature when working on something in close quarters, as it will likely turn on/off randomly. It may also do that if you walk by something too close, or turn your head near a light pole or something. That feature can be turned off, so no issues. It also has USB-C charging, instead of micro-usb. A 2-pack of these for 10 bucks... you can't beat that, straight up.I can't say if these are rain proof or water proof, but as a standalone headlamp at this price they are very solid. I'm pretty sure they aren't 1200 lumens, although I have no scientific tests to prove this. I held it up against my Coast headlamp which was advertised 650 lumens, and the focused beam on high was slightly brighter than the Coast.... just slightly. The floodlights do not compare to the Coast headlamp whatsoever, the brightness dies off a lot with distance, and not even much distance. I can barely tell the floodlight is on when shining it on my bookcase across the room but I can easily tell that my Coast headlamp is on at this distance.
