Makes perfect waffles.

Bought three months ago. I have used it seven times. Today I went to make waffles, unit heated up then completely shut down. Tried different outlets, nothing. Total waste of money.

I used the recipe provided and the waffles came out great. I used a mix and they came out ok, but their recipe is better. It has no off and on switch. You turn it on and off by plugging it in or unplugging it. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. Still, it is pretty nice and I’m happy to have it.

I love how easy it is to store this waffle maker. The rotating cook surfaces mean you can store it vertically and even on one end, for super compact storage. Also, the unit is very light weight, so it is easy to move even if you have limited hand strength. The flip mechanisim is easy and fun to use and supervised children will have no problem making their own waffle. It was easy to clean. I really liked how my waffles turned out. All in all I am pleased with my purchase but it isn't perfect. Caveats - The unit is very light weight and I worried that it wouldn't stay in place when flipping the waffle but it does stay in place! The outer case is all plastic and feels pretty cheap. If you make waffles often, this unit might only last a few years. There is no user temperature or time control. Using the light indicator resulted in a waffle that was just shy of crispy (though nicely golden brown). Simply cooking it for a little longer does the trick. The light indicator it's self can be hard to read in bright light and I found myself double checking the light to be sure I was seeing it accurately.

After Door Dash screwed up my iHOP order for a waffle, which was going to cost $24 after all the fees, I decided to have Instacart deliver this waffle maker to me from a local Fred Meyer for under $60. I made a perfect waffle the first and second time with no drama. No more expensive waffle delivery - very pleased with this device. One more waffle to go and this has paid for itself and a better waffle to boot.
