Great kit. Noticeable improvement.
I wish this came with a link to a video showing how to disassemble the PS5 controller, but other than that this kit is perfect. I found a video on Youtube and followed along to disassemble the controller. once you have the shell separated, pulling out the old batter and installing this one is very easy. The PS5 controller seems exactly the same post upgrade. The weight difference isn't noticeable, the charging seems identical, it just lasts a lot longer between going dead. Why Sony put such a small battery in their otherwise great controller is baffling, but this is a great way to fix that.

Initial impressions, good.
Received the battery yesterday, installed yesterday. Battery came decently charged, only took about half an hour to finish off. Replacement is SO easy. Way easier than PS3 was. Turn off controller. Avoid turning it on accidently. Pull off bumpers by using pry tool and prying against bottom triggers. They pop right out. Use the edge of the pry tool and lift the trim piece on the bottom of each leg. Gently rotate it up and pull it out and over the sticks. There are 4 screws and 2 clasps. The screws are in the bumper holes and bottom of each leg, and clasps are where the mic and headphone jack is. Unclip them gently, they break easily. Rotate the bottom of the controller upwards and push out so it pops off the triggers. The battery is just under this. Pull the old one, replace new in same spot. Reassemble in reverse order, being careful not to damage either microphone. Note, these are PLASTIC. The little screws provided aren't. It is VERY EASY to over tighten the screws. Overtightning will result in a case that doesn't stay fully together, and has a little squish. Same with the tabs, if you break them off it'll cause the case to not fully seat. This won't harm the controller but it's annoying. I was surprised to see that this battery was actually smaller than the original, meaning I could potentially fit an even bigger battery in. I'd bet a 5 or 6000 mah battery would work if it was the right dimensions. Charged it up and so far it's way better. The old controller was bought used when I got the PS5 and couldn't afford a new 2nd controller. Unfortunately, the battery only lasted a whole 2 hours before it was too low to play, AND it never seems to charge all the way, so often times it would be even less. Charged right up on the dock and lasted a good 3 hours without dropping a bar on the indicator. Will update

Triples standard battery life
The battery on my PS5 controller was on its last legs, so I bought this for a replacement. It works well, and nearly tripled the battery life of my PS5 controller. Watch a Youtube video to make sure you are taking your controller apart correctly and without breaking anything. Takes about 10 minutes.

A purchase I am glad I made! What took me so long?!?!?!
My PS5 controller batteries were on their last legs. These were a fantastic replacement to the original Sony ones. They work great and were easy to use. The included tool were extremely helpful. The batter is smaller than the original, but stays securely in place with the double sided tape that is already attached to battery. Now my charge will last even longer than before

Edited, it will charge with the right plug and cord.
These batteries will not recharge. We are using these for a PS5. They were easy to install, they had a full charge when new too. But now, after a couple days, they're both dead, and they won't recharge. I'm kinda pissed. Ok, update a few days later. Was a 1 star, now I'd go 3 star. It turns out that they are recharging, but there's no light indicating that they're charging, and I can't tell when the charge cycle begins or ends. Getting about 6-8 hrs of steady use from these batteries. I wish the indicator light would still work, I didn’t change any settings for the controllers, so if someone has a solution, I’m all ears lol. But they are working, and they are good price. Another edit.. We have discovered that with the right plug and cord, these batteries will recharge, and the indicator lights on the controller do work, we just had to get better plug in cord set ups, maybe due to a higher capacity on the batteries?? Not sure, but they're working good now. Bumped to a 4 star now lol.

Amazing batteries
I was going to buy a new controller because it wasn’t lasting not even one hour. A buddy of mine sent me this link and I bought two of them. And now I can play for a long damn time these batteries are amazing and easy to install you must get!

Good battery
On a full charge it can last about 5 days. I play every day after work when I get home for about 2-6 hours
