The best controller on the market, worth every dime!
I pretty much never take the time to leave reviews, but this has been one of those absolute game-changing (no pun intended) product's for me, I felt obligated to share. Exhibit A: I have a lot of controllers... My kids and I are big gamers, so that comes with a lot of consoles. However, I think every one of these controllers shown except the solo wired (turbo) were purchased before the Wolverine V2s. Initially, I was a disgruntled purchaser of the PS/PC V2. I've always been an Xbox/PC/Nintendo player, but last year I decided to branch out and picked up a PS5. Immediately after turning it on and picking up the PS5 controller the first time I was in utter shock, the joysticks AREN'T OFFSET?! What kind of garbage, hand cramping design is that? I digress... So I immediately started searching for PS5 aftermarket controllers with offset joysticks, and initially all I could find looked like garbage with fairly negative reviews except the Wolvering V2, which I thought at $250 was just the most absurd price I wasn't going to pay for a controller period, much less turning a $500 venture into PlayStation into a $750 one. After continuing to scour the internet for another decent PS5 controller at a "reasonable" price and coming up short, I decided to bite the bullet and just buy the V2 (hence the disgruntled). Now, I don't think I'd ever spent more than $80 on a controller and that was for the Switch Pro's, which I still thought was really pricey for a controller and I couldn't believe I was spending over $100, much less $250??? Exhibit B: I don't know how long it took to ship, but let's assume overnight. You can see it took me all of maybe 36 hours to decide I couldn't go back to an Xbox controller. Even though the Xbox V2 was wired, which I couldn't believe, I had been ruined for all other controllers. That covers my first 2... What was the single gift I told the family to chip in on for Xmas last year? A 2nd PS5/PC Wolvering V2 to dedicate to PC so the original could be dedicated to PS, after all who want's to go through the trouble of moving a USB stick between the two? ***Pros*** You're just not going to top the quality of Razer. The product stands up behind it's price tag. The additional programmable M1/M2 next to your Trigger/Bumper is so insanely comfortable to replace those high volume buttons or if you have more than 2 high volume buttons (looking at you Diablo) shift one off of your thumb for not just a more comfortable setup, but reduced mis-clicks. The programmable M3/M4/M5/M6 paddle buttons on the back are incredible for combo button needs (Stick those flasks in your pouch Elden Ring players and seamlessly be able to down HP or FP without drinking the wrong one again!). ***Cons*** Price. However, if you're someone that put your controllers through work and need to replace them periodically, this might not be as expensive as it seems as it will absolutely outlast any standard PS/Xbox controller... No turbo or macro capabilities. (PLEASE Razer, if you're reading this, for the love of god release the Wolverine V3 Pro ASAP with Synapse support for Macros & Turbo!!!) ***Potential Pro/Con*** This is not a "small" controller, it has *slightly* beefier grips than a standard Xbox or PS5 controller, designed (I assume) for ergonomics. It took a while for it to click for me, but I realized during those super-sessions my hands weren't getting as stiff or sore. That being said, if you're someone with really small hands that struggles with the size of those, say if you opt for the Joy-Con controller because the Switch Pro Controller is too big, this probably isn't the right controller for you. Look, do whatever you want, I'm not your dad. But if you do pick one up and end up loving it as much as I do, I hope this review helped!

A great Xbox-like controller
I find the stock PlayStation controller uncomfortable with its symmetrical design. I tried a Nacon controller that was very uncomfortable, but this one is a keeper. The paddles in the back are awkwardly placed, so if that's important to you, you probably want to skip it. It also has no haptics when used with the PS5, which is not great, but I'm willing to do without. Lastly, it can't even turn the PS5 on! It also doesn't come with a case. Even with all those negatives, I like it and am glad I found it.

Best Controller I’ve Ever Used!
I bought the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller for my PS5, and I can confidently say it’s the best controller I’ve ever used! Previously, I was using a Scuf Vantage, which had a similar layout. While the Scuf was nice—especially because I could swap in standard DualShock sticks when they wore out—the build quality left much to be desired. The rubber on the Scuf eventually fell apart, which was frustrating for a premium-priced controller. The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is a massive upgrade in every way. The buttons have an incredibly satisfying, tactile click that makes every input feel precise and responsive. The materials feel solid and substantial, giving the impression that this controller will hold up over time. Another highlight is the ease of programming the buttons via an app on my phone. It’s so intuitive and straightforward compared to the more manual, analog process of the Scuf. If you’re looking for a high-quality, reliable gaming controller for your PS5, I can’t recommend the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro enough. It’s worth every penny!

Buy something else
Right out of the box, it had awful stick drift. Unplayable and unacceptable for the price point. Customer service was an absolute chore to deal with, and after a month I got my replacement, and it has the same problem. I’m returning and I do not recommend this.

Overpriced
Controller is comfortable and solid. I have to admit the lack of rumble, and adaptive triggers is pretty crazy. I know it states it in the box, but for the price it should REALLY include it or at least a carrying case? Where do you put the extra sticks? Other “pro” controllers have them included for the same price. Handing wise with the app it’s great, if anything just cumbersome. Booting up the phone app and pairing to your phone is relatively easy, but again at that asking price I feel like they could’ve had a more elegant solution. Clicky micro switch buttons feels great. The shoulder and control stick feels great. The sticks themselves feel a bit “looser” but still responsive. I never felt like any inputs were being missed. The rear back buttons help a lot with shooters and even with some other RPGs like Monster Hunter. If you can find it under $100 bucks give it a try. But at its asking price of $100+ it’s hard to justify. It doesn’t feel premium enough. You’d be better off looking at a dual sense edge or alternative. It’s a bummer, I really wanted to like this controller. At the end of the day it’s a good product, just overpriced.

Best controller I’ve had yet.
I love this controller. From the tactile micro switch dpad and face buttons, to the smooth triggers and joysticks I’m desperately trying to make this one last. Gotta play with clean hands and do my best not to crush this thing to death. The trigger locks and extra switches are easily accessed. I love the LED light show this thing puts on. The only drawback is the rather pitiful battery life. Also wait for it to go on sale if you can. It’s a bit over priced even at $200 imo. But I’m a razer fan and will always go back to them. But other wise the back paddles are perfect and extra shoulder buttons are all customizable mean you hit every possible configuration and can swap em quickly using the app on your phone which was user friendly, imo. 10/10 as good as it gets, def recommend.

Amazing and worth the price
The app is weird but easy to get use to. Had it three months without cleaning and no stick drift issues. The buttons have satisfying clicks when pressed. Easy to switch from wired to wireless. Would highly recommend for any gamer.

Mixed bag. Not as good as the PS4 raiju.
The good: I had a wired raiju that I loved and got hooked on the extra R1 L1 buttons, love having back buttons, and the face buttons are better than the OEM controllers (in my opinion) The Bad: in wireless mode eventually develops a huge amount of input lag that I had to reset the controller and transmitter to fix periodically. Finally switched to running in wired mode (and had to buy a cable since it doesn't come with one. Really $200 price tag and you can't include a $10 cable?) which works better but have developed stick drift. Mitigated some by increasing the deadzone but still shouldn't be there at all for a premium controller. The Dpad isn't great but it seems like no one makes a good one anymore. So can't hold that against Razer too much. The Ugly: it has been said by many already but having the controller only configurable through the app is dumb, And only updatable on a PC is worse (I do understand not being able to push firmware updates through PSN, no peripherals do except Sony OEM stuff but this still sucks.) . I personally don't care about RGB functionality, but it is helpful for identifying which map you are on, again only configurable on the app. Also another personal preference thing but do not like the Xbox stick placement and I am taking points off because it is the only option.
