Water taste great. The filters seem to have changed from the original ones that first came with the pitcher. The design and quality are good, it's just that the water now comes out faster like a steady stream instead of just a slow drip. No change to the water taste as it still taste refreshing. I see that there are other brands of filter replacements for this that are less expensive, but none of them claim to reduce micro plastics which was the main reason why I got this brand filter. So while others may work and the water taste good I'll stick to the OEM to remove microplastics.

Not only does this(with the whole system) makes great clean water it shows you how truly dirty the water from the pipes really are. You save so much money from not buying bottled water any more. You dont have to worry if your water is in stock,sale or even carrying/putting it in the cart,car,home etc. You NEVER EVER have to worry about your family running out of clean safe fresh water as long as someone remembers to fill it up. It helps if you keep an 64oz juice bottle or 2 filled with tap water (so you can already have cold water ready to be cleaned) in the refrigerator since thats about the amount to keep the top of container filled up. Oh yeah definitely follow the directions to change both filters on time. Please pay attention to this filter you might have to change it twice a year to keep your water EXTRA clean.

We have been using this system in our travel van for several years. It really does improve the taste of the water from our onboard water tank. Based on the testing done on these filters I don’t worry about the purity of the water we drink. Coffee and tea tastes much better and the flavor is consistent. It has reduced our reliance on bottled water that we carry with us. We have used several other water filters, both gravity and pressure types of filtering systems. The pitcher takes up very little space and makes more than enough for our morning routine.

Filtration speed is great and only needs to be replaced once a year. I filter all my water and did not have to replace this filter sooner than one year.

These filters work really well and our water tastes great, but I’ve found the Lifestraw filters to be really inconsistent. Some let water through super fast and some are painfully slow. Each one seems to be a little different, but the water from each tastes the same, so they must all be working.

Very good filter. I’ve not noticed any taste, smell, colour changes or foreign particles in my water. Water is crystal clear and refreshing. Tea and coffee also has a clean taste and you can see the difference. Says it last for a year with daily use and the other filter is changed every few months.
