Dove Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo, 7.3oz

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This has become my go to dry shampoo. It does an excellent job absorbing oil and refreshing my hair without leaving behind a heavy residue or making my hair feel stiff. A few quick sprays instantly add volume and make my hair look freshly washed. I also love that it blends in easily and doesn’t leave a noticeable white cast, which has been an issue with other dry shampoos I’ve tried. The scent is clean and fresh without being overpowering. It’s perfect for busy mornings, travel, or extending a blowout for an extra day or two. For the price, the quality is hard to beat. I’ve tried much more expensive brands and continue coming back to Dove because it consistently delivers great results.

I recently took a heavy fall and fractured my humerus. I wasn’t able to shower for a while as I needed some safety equipment installed. I searched Amazon and discovered this Dove dry shampoo. I found it was easy to use one-handed, had a nice scent and did not leave any residue! I recommend highly!

I am so glad I bought this stuff on a whim! So worth it! It does actually work for about 2 days! The smell is a bit strong initially but it mellows out and becomes more pleasant later, my husband loves how it smells lol! I have very thin hair but a lot of it, it never wants to work with me or have any volume and this stuff has helped a ton! Doesn't leave a residue as long as its applied correctly and not over done!

When I first used this I found it over powering in every way, very disappointed. It has a super strong smell, makes a big white cloud, and definitely leaves a film of white residue on your hair.... However, since I bought this multi-pack and didn't want to return it I continued to try to use it. After using it, my husband told me two times that I smelled nice (this man doesn't give compliments). So while I find the smell very strong, its not a bad smell... I spray it holding my breath, and run out of the room so I don't huff in the white cloud of dry shampoo fragrance. Also, I was able to use a lot less than I initially used. Maybe even half of what I use with the "Not your mother's" brand. That cut back on some residue and with some serious tousling or even combing, the white residue blends in ok. Again, I still find the white residue more than others but I also sometimes use a dish cloth to rub it in as well which really gets the whiteness gone. Lastly I LOVE the volume it gives... as someone who also uses dry texturizer at times, I find this works nice for the roots/upper hair area to have that kick of volume but without feeling like its "hairsprayed". Needless to say, I'm glad I kept it. The only thing I would really change is the smell - it doesn't need to be so strong.

Ok I didn’t have super high hopes for this but decided to try it and OMG I’m hooked. First, the smell is amazing, then the spray comes out even and doesn’t leave a powdery residue. It makes my blonde post menopausal thinning hair look super full and clean. This will replace my beloved Batiste. Buy it!!!

So I want to start this off by saying I was really excited for this one. The smell is nice (if you like floral sweet smells) I can smell it on my hair even the next day, it’s like a natural perfume! I got this one because it’s supposed to be light weight like the Kroger brand dry shampoo (my ABSOLUTE favorite) and not as residue-y as Batiste dry shampoo (my least favorite). I also thought the volume bump would be nice for days where it’s greasy *and* flat! But, If you have an oily scalp with sensitive skin, this is not for you. Because it does leave residue (not as much as Batiste but more than Kroger) it interacts with my oily scalp funny and causes me to be itchy. And yes, I did it as directed, and yes I had spread it around! I got it for camping (bears and bees are near lol) so I might not take it because the scent is quite strong and lingers. I also have a feeling that in direct sun my scalp will even be more itchy. I also have a bit of sensory issues so if the slight itchiness doesn’t bother you, then yay! As for the volume, it adds a bit more texture to your hair but that’s it. Dry shampoo naturally acts as a volumizer for me so this doesn’t appear much different, it’s almost like I added a little hair spray to the dry shampoo-even the texture. It also leaves that white cast that so many do. I rate it a three because it does the job really well of a dry shampoo (where some others don’t) but it is not one I would actively reach to, just because of my personal scalp needs!

This is my tried and true! I have very dark hair and this blends in without the weird white residue. I am able to extend past wash days up to 2 days so it's a life saver on days where I'm on the go. The smell is stronger, but it's pleasant. I keep one can at work to touch up on rainy days too as it adds some volume as well!

Works great and doesn’t give off the intense smell of dry shampoo that I find batiste does. It smells lovely, and works relatively well. Extends my hair wash cycle about a day.
