Vegan On The Go

We bought this book for a mate for his birthday as he's vegan, but he already had it so we've kept it. It has some great recipes and although we're not vegan (or even vegetarian) we find it nice to have a break from meat and try something new and healthy. Great book, well written, easy to follow recipes and a great resource for when you're having guests over with different dietary requirements to a nice bit of steak.

Libro di ricette vegan dal gusto tedesco ed a volte con gusto non particolarmente piacevole:fusilli con finocchio e banana sono immangiabili. Sono molte le ricette dal gusto pessimo (secondo quello che mangio normalmente) e soprattutto sono poco bilanciate dal punto di vista nutrizionale.Ennesimo caso di libro scritto da gente che di cucina e nutrizione vegana sa poco o niente. Restituito.

I love the concept of this book - quick, interesting, vegan lunches. Most of the recipes are for two portions (or one big one!), all of them have accompanying photos and there are lots of tips dotted throughout the book too. I love the variety of ideas from soups and salads (Squash soup with caremalized ginger, Indian chickpea and pomegranate salad) to sandwiches and mini-meals (Spicy tomato tartare on crunchy ciabatta, Aubergine schnitzel with garlic cream). There’s even some puddings included too. A clever book with lots of fresh ideas, I would recommend it to anyone looking to make lunchtimes more exciting.

Did 'Veganuary' a while back, lots of good vegan meals to try out. havent really kept up with any of them though after January
