## Overview

The Respro® Techno Filter Pack of 2 (XL) offers cutting-edge dual-layer filtration combining Sports Hepa-Type™ and Dynamic Activated Charcoal Cloth to protect against sub-micron particulates, harmful gases, and vapors. Designed for heavy urban pollution, these lightweight, interchangeable filters ensure optimal air quality for daily commuters and cyclists, with a recommended replacement every month or 69 hours to maintain maximum efficiency.

## Description

The Techno™ Filter Pack contains two replacement filters and can be fitted into any Respro® mask. The filter is suitable for use in heavily polluted environments, i.e. air that is full of diesel particulates and respirable dusts and exhaust gases like NOX that are regularly cited in the press as above legal levels. It is a combination of the Sports Hepa-Type™ filter for sub-micron particulate pollutants, with a DACC™ (activated Charcoal) layer for filtering gases and vapours and particles. The effective working life of Respro® filters depends on a number of factors, such as; the breathing rate of the user; levels of pollution; the length of time the filter is being exposed to urban traffic air; hygiene levels. Taking these factors into account we recommend that the filter should be replaced every month or every 69 hours, whichever is the sooner.

The fit is normally a little stiff for a few days but after some use they shape nicely to fit the contours of your face - be warned - it does make you look like you've just woken up with 'pillow' lines around your face. I use the mask for my daily commute on my scooter and I find it indispensable on London roads. I find them comfortable not only to wear but also to breath in - if I were cycling they might get a tad warmer. I change mine when they look visibly discolored so perhaps once every month and a half. They're not cheap but well worth it from a health perspective.

Great filters for the respro techno masks! The fit is normally a little stiff for a few days but after some use they shape nicely to fit the contours of your face - be warned - it does make you look like you've just woken up with 'pillow' lines around your face.
