Review: Actuator did not work first day installed - We bought the home plow 24000 and everything that goes with it. Once attached the fob key worked and it raised once. Later we tried to raise it again and it would not raise. The actuator part number 22887 would chatter. The actuator itself cost over 1000.
Review: 8 Maryland winters , more than a toy - I hate to do this, I’m missing bolts, can’t find serial number to register plow ? But desertcart gave me a partial refund, and it is pretty sturdy for the money. update Used it today and I must say does a great job on my explorer sport Trac. I bought this in 2018 , eight years use and still working great . I do two parking lots and a couple driveways . The remote is a little whimpy , I’m on my second one . Zero issues w plow or actuator .

We bought the home plow 24000 and everything that goes with it. Once attached the fob key worked and it raised once. Later we tried to raise it again and it would not raise. The actuator part number 22887 would chatter. The actuator itself cost over 1000.

very poor customer service from manufacturer. I had an issue with having to press the down button 10-12 times to get plow all the way down. I took to authorized dealer. they verified my complaint but even after contacting meyer products they couldn't resolve the issue. I called meyer and was told it is a common problem and there is nothing they can do. one of the electricians at my work looked at the plow and discovered the antenna wire inside the receiver was laying across the circuit board causing signal interference. we drilled a hole in the case and ran the wire through. works good now but for what I paid I shouldn't have to correct manufacturing defects
